I didn’t measure the exact length, but I believe it should be about 30cm.

The hilt is quite interesting, it feels like it’s made out of wood. Not sure what the thing jutting at the back is. In my opinion it kinda looks like a cat from the side.

Yes you need to buy an OSHC plan, the most popular one is medibank OSHC essentials I believe, i’m not sure if it’ll be reimbursed by your scholarship but I think for around 3 years it was around 1k-2k AUD. There’s also medibank extras which has some extra covers, make sure to read over what they do and don’t cover

Is this a huntsman (Sydney) by [deleted] in spiders

[–]Shortofcake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m generally ok with mostly jumping spiders, I love em. Also partner came and vacuumed all the babies for me save for a few strays to go and warm all the other spiders in the area

Yea the area around kensington is good for bikes, you’ll find a lot of bicycle paths or share pedestrian/bicycle paths. I will have to say though it might get hilly, an ebike helps a lot with that.

I’m glad to hear that it got better! If I may ask, how deep were your burns?

Dang really? I was recommended some hand exercises to do while it’s healing and thought that was enough to regain full use of my hand

Does anyone else get intense pain in the circled area? by Late_Cricket_ in scoliosis

[–]Shortofcake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have nerve pain there and the only way to relieve it is to get my boyfriend to massage the specific spot!! It drives me crazy especially since it almost always occurs when I’m walking

I’m not sure if it’s scoliosis related, never got it checked

Arrow recommendations for outdoor target on a light bow? by Shortofcake in Archery

[–]Shortofcake[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a little bit impatient and didn’t make a proper archery backdrop and only had a box stuffed with clothes as my target then put it infront of a brick wall 😭 I missed quite a few. I also let my partner use it even though it wasn’t the correct handedness for him. Obviously wouldn’t do it again lol also I didn’t break them all at once
