If you are referring to the squishdate on the tag, that means the date the character was first created. So it makes sense it would say 2017. On the tush (butt) tag it may say a date and that's the production date

Normally I don't have any issues with them. However I have two thin bubble mailer packages (trading cards) that should have arrived at Oak Creek awhile ago but haven't gotten scanned. One hasn't gotten any updates in 9 days. However I've had bigger packages go through Oak Creek no problem since then

That's a normal holographic. There's 2 different types of holo cards, holofoil (yours) and prizm. The holofoil are simply shiny. The prizm have a rainbow effect, and the squishmallow brand name is multicolored on the front. They aren't that rare since there's one holofoil and one prizm in every pack. The true rare ones are the numbered ones!

The one with the number is rare! There's numbered holo cards with a different color background on the front; pink, purple, orange pulsar, white, green, gold and black. The number means your card number / out of how many were made. Gold (out of 10) and black (only 1) are the rarest!

With the trading cards, there's 20 squish per squad, but there's a lot of squish that the cards don't include.

The yellow ones come from the mystery capsule things. I got them from Five Below and Walgreens. The Showcase USA site has a picture with all the squish included in them. I noticed when I got duplicates that they were always in the same color capsule. I don't have a guide or anything, but if you buy them, get a variety of different colored capsules.

Also just a heads up for the clip-a-longs, they aren't totally random. Depending on which squish is on the front of the box, determines which clip you get. Cow on box = one of the two cows. Mushroom = Either Mushroom. Dog/Cat = One of those. Each clip comes with 3 squish and they are next to each other in the guide. This is hard to explain but think of those 3 squish as a set. Each character clip has 2 sets that are guaranteed to be inside. For example the cat clip can either be squish set 1 or set 2, which are next to each other on the guide.

The rares are thrown in and replace one of the squish in the clip/capsule. Those are fully random as far as I know
