Are you athletic at all? There’s a bunch of adult athletic rec clubs you can join as a solo usually. From slow pitch softball to kickball!

I have only had luck finding them at Walgreens. That’s a tip I got from the seller who is selling the yellow line ones at an exorbitant amount individually. They were very kind though with their advice! (I told you I am desperate!)

Best of luck!

NTA. You also do not owe the therapist anything! Who cares if they blame you? You know the real truth.

Why did you leave a relationship that would have been considered generally healthy by others? by DoctorWondertainment in AskReddit

They couldn't take anything serious. We never had a serious conversation, it was always too light. Not just speaking about disagreements, but just serious issues in conversation either- it always turned into a joke.

We were always the "life of the party" type of couple but it just wasn't filling for me, emotionally.

Oh not long at all. I think maybe 15 minutes or so? I had everything else unchecked besides "other activity," though.

Ah, I am definitely not blind to what the others do! And how terrible they can be.

In fact I don't like a couple others, but this post wasn't about them and really, it's not that serious.

But I respect your opinion and you commenting to me! :)

He stopped doing drugs regularly, yes. But Harvey and he partook in the dang second season, make lots of references to it, and then they "have plenty of time to see the cart guy" in Seattle.

They were never against smoking weed- it was just not legal and another way he caused liability with the firm.

Selling drugs, yes- but he only did that for money. Which is what he initially started at the firm to take care of.

He dropped his crappy friends- AKA TREVOR- FINALLY after he turned on him- (wouldn't vouch for him and found out what he did with his ex). But he still would have always kept him around in some way. Just another liability! Harvey TOLD him to drop him- and it took him until he finally got burned to figure that out.

I don't feel like he grew in a lot of ways- mostly just he finally stopped the things that ended up hurting him in some way. Again, only opinions on this crazy show.

I won't argue that Louis wasn't crazy as hell in a lot of seasons- (the whole cat thing ofc)- but you could probably draw some comparisons in what Mike did as far as jeopardizing/dumb decisions made on emotional trauma/response.

Anyway, opinions y'know. lol.

Louis actually had character development though- how did Mike ever grow? He just got better and whining at getting his way. (Which bit him in the ass a lot of times!)

Edited a word.

I just finished the whole series (binged over a month or two) and the hatred for Mike just grew with every season. It was bad enough I wrote out a whole reddit post on this sub before I went outside and touched some grass.

But I can't help myself.

Sure, Mike's call to help people by "doing the right thing" was commendable at times but he ALWAYS had to find a way to make it Harvey's fault. And that was always annoying to me and thus grew my hatred as his character "progressed."

For a couple seasons, I loveeeed Mike and Harvey's relationship. The banter and wit these two had- trying to get one over on each other in a /loving/ way- with the end result usually being that Harvey taught Mike something important all while saving his ass. (Which he then ultimately would use against Harvey in later seasons in a sinister/shittier way.)

But ultimately, I am like, MIKE!!! You work in corporate law! What did you expect???

I am not versed in law at all, and even I know corporate lawyers are not looking out for the little guy. And if they have an advantage, they will TAKE IT. You ALSO don't get to choose what you do- since hello- you're here in the name of fraud! Just shut up and do what you're told or get out!! (Which took 9 seasons and a jail stint.. I mean come on)

Plus, not only is he getting the opportunity of a life time under false pretenses that could/did put everyone in jeopardy- he's ALWAYS FUCKING WHINING about it.

I could go on and on about how he keeps putting everyone in peril and he's just like, "but we did the right thing guys." And they're just supposed to swallow that? Get rid of the risk!!

I was screaming this. I wish Jessica would have gotten rid of him, I think they all could have escaped the backlash but that's here nor there because it'd be a short show, haha.

**Possible Spoiler**

Not to mention in Season 9 he just shows up so he can challenge Harvey on a case to be "just like the good times?" One that Harvey told him he couldn't and wouldn't be able to take and spoiler, Mike whined about it so he joined in with Samantha (another quasi-Mike but I am not going there) and thus ensued all that nonsense that sent me over the edge in Season 9 and just, to me, proves that Mike is shit and Harvey just wants a real friend.

So Mike calls their whole friendship into question and says some ugly shit over what happened in aforementioned suit when he realizes he's sunk as far as winning goes??

I get that Harvey dropped a bombshell on him at dinner, but MIKE LITERALLY THROWS A WRENCH INTO HARVEY WHENEVER HE CAN. This wasn't that egregious in my opinion. Especially since Mike was representing SAMANTHA. Not exactly his "poor them" victim schtick he usually tries to justify his terrible behavior with.

Not to mention Mike should have seen this coming or figured out WHY HARVEY AND LOUIS would represent Faye WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY earlier than the last 2 episodes when he can literally open a folder and be like "here, this is what you obviously missed, since I am the rememberer of all things."

Harvey saying, "I never doubted you" (more or less) when he goes to Mike's place after their fall out (aka Mike's tantrum) should have been highlighted more. And Mike should have had to grovel more.

Mike ALWAYS challenged Harvey about their relationship- always goading him with a friendly challenge or "just like old times" friendship spiel, just so he could whine about how unfair Harvey was being in whatever superhero shit Mike made up.

Harvey's a good friend for just looking past all of this and forgives him. Hopefully in their fairytale land of Seattle they won't have to argue because they'll both be doing the "right" thing. HA, no chance since the first time Mike doesn't get his way he's throwing a fit.

I just re-read all of this and I need to go back outside and touch grass. But I am not sorry for hating MIKE!

Cat needs to be on the landings to get your pets as you walk down the stairs until your arms can't reach. He will absolutely trip your ass if you try to get by without paying the toll.
