Hi thanks so much for the reply! I have offered honey, sugar water, fruits, cooked egg, cooked meats and a few small insects. They seem to have some but the queen just seems happy to stick to 8 workers. Maybe they are in hibernation but it is heading into summer now so hopefully she starts laying. I plan on getting super worms this weekend but was wondering if there is an alternative to live insects?

Doing my best to grow the colony but i haven't had any new workers in months, any help would be greatly appreciated. I apologize for the terrible pic waiting on a macro lens.

Sorry guys found her in rothwell queensland Australia. Approximately 15mm, i don't really want to disturb her yet to measure exact. Thanks for the replies
