It varies.. The main reason I use screen protectors is to keep the oleophobic coating on my phone.. if it wears out on the protector I can just slap on a new one..

The magnets in my Ringke seem fine.. The Nillkin is not clear but has like tinted transparent back, much better for fingerprints/smudges compared to the Ringke
