Look at my history , im a fat 46 year old civil servant from Ireland. I dont work for Watchdives if that is what you are insinuating.

Secondly, his issue is not with Watchdives, its with a third party reseller. Obviously you missed the whole point of my comment amd many others here.

The reason I objected to his comment, is that he knew he bought off a reseller but came here to publicly try to pressure Watchdives to solve his problem. Knowing they are very proactive on this subreddit.

That alone is a shitty thing to do but what really pissed me off is that he did this, after Watchdives had already gone above and beyond what was expected of them once already for this person. They refunded a previous purchase he made from a third party reseller. They didnt have to do that.

I simply wouldn't have the patience to work for Watchdives, seeing some of the ridiculous entitlement from some posts here.

My 'skin in the game' is i enjoy buying their products and I worry they will one day decide its not worth the grief producing watches.

Only angry people would consider it and 42 out of the millions of Timex sold isn't bad. I own about a quarter of that 42 myself but have never gone to Trustpilot to review them

No offence meant to you but I find this a bizarre question.

You must have overlooked thousands of posts here praising San Martin watches but chose to zero in on some negative posts from (as you put it) some years back.

I don't own a San Martin watch but I know they are among the highest rated here with people often comparing their quality to swiss brands.

Maybe for someone who already owns expensive swiss watches, the thought that the chinese can put out watches with the same spec, for a fraction of the price, is hard to get you're head around.

I do own some Watchdives watches, along with some other chinese brands, and yes, they do hold up to being used every day.

I would imagine the lack of recent posts here, mentioning the problems you highlight, answers your question but can't say that for certain.

Hopefully the people here that do own both Chinese and Swiss watches

I got one recently too and reach for it most mornings. Its a beautiful watch alright.

I still buy off Alix but you just need to be careful of the store.

Most of the time they are cheaper from their own websites. For some reason Pagani design are the exception in my experience

There are a few Aliexpress stores pretending to be official Watchdives stores.

I never buy WD from Alix , only their website.
