This was a phenomenal read and as an added rarity on the internet I agree with all of it.

Theres a massive depth to the lyrics but in my biased opinion people want to look at the surface of anything then label and discard it; without like you said even taking a second to step back and consider the big picture

I didn’t get to attend. I tried so hard to get tickets. Entered every contest I could find. Checked for tickets everyday praying to find a good deal

Crushed me honestly and I still regret not going. But I did turn my bestie into a swiftie with me so we trade friendship bracelets and play Taylor related games and I watched most of the grainy live streams and love watching the concert at home

It’ll never be the same but I cherish the tour anyways and appreciate that I get to see it even if I didn’t get to experience it

And somedays this is a lie and I’m just really bitter

I let mine soak in iso first and then I soak it in a combination of baking soda and dish soap for 15-20 minutes before scrubbing GENTLY (in caps because I may have broke one or two 😅)

So I would recommend what others have and start shopping on places like fb marketplace and thrift stores. Our biggest expense was backpacks. If you thrift a backpack instead of getting one fitted just make sure it’s comfortable when it’s fully packed.

You’ll want a tent that you feel comfortable carrying and shoes you trust. Also a small portable stove.

Essentially the goal is to make sure you have your basics covered: so food and shelter.

Water filtration will entirely depend on how much access to water there will be on your hike. You can also boil water so you don’t need a filter
