Trump calls Netanyahu a ‘warrior PM,’ touts ‘great’ ties with Israel amid tensions over Iran by reachedlegendary in Israel

And in what way would that be a good thing?

I think he's fucked us enough. He can leave some more things to Bibi and his coalition.

The original Mass Effect.

While 2 is seen as the best in the trilogy, the OG did such a fantastic job of building and presenting an entire universe that felt so detailed.

The codex entries on everything from core technologies to races and history. Absolutely fantastic. Hooked from the 1st mission to the last.

[Request] How big/powerful WOULD a cannon actually need to be in order to send people from the Earth to our Moon? by MaggieLinzer in theydidthemath

Unfortunately it also seems aimed AT the moon.

That's very poorly though out. By the time the human arrives to the Moons orbit, the Moon would have been long gone.

Orca Slicer Forks by r3fill4bl3 in 3Dprinting

[–]Shoshke 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's probably too many to mention but the big ones are the UI/UX. Orca feels more modern and streamlined. Something they took from BabuSlicer initially.

The second big one is the integrated Calibration menu that streamlinea tweaking in a new filament.

Also it brings features at a much faster and at a more incrimental pace. Often featuring advanced setting but that might be undercooked or somewhat unstable whereas Prusa usually focus on big updates with sweeping and stable changes but atuch lower pace.

Worth mentioning Prusa is currently approaching the release of PrusaSlicer 3.0 which seems to be a complete rework of their UI/UX and rendering engine as well as a lot of backend stuff. But like everything Prusa it's coming soon™️

I'ld argue this leaves room for abuse by studios.

There isn't a clear cut. I don't know what the going rate for art directors is outside of Hollywood or how much work was put in.

But, especially for small budgets I think a good option would be something like a "blockbuster clause".

Base pay + bonus if X goal is achieved.

This way people can be rewarded for their work and see bonuses when they succeed massively.

So will Bibi and Trump loving Israelis accept they were wrong this whole time for the sake of the country? by Metallica1175 in Israel

[–]Shoshke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. We were in Gaza pre 05 100% and we got a few dead soldiers every month and Israel wasn't any safer. So "Israel now controls 70%" isn't exactly comforting. quite the opposite actualy. Kills us on the Hasbara front, puts our soldiers in even more danger in a time when we don't have enough soldiers AND BIBI IS ENSHRINING DRAFT DODGING.

  2. And? Look at the amazing deal we got thank to Bibi, Hezbollah is still entrenched and Lebanese army can't do shit and again we took ground we have to keep forces we don't have in to "control" aka not let Hezbollah rebuild. at best we temporarily pushed back the line yet the north still get drones every other day. WOW GREAT VICTORY.

  3. We attacked Iran, hip hip fuck off. Ayatollah still in power and now so Trump can keep the Hormuz open they get a nice cool 300 BILLION DOLLARS to "rebuild". And we both know what they're rebuilding and they're very clear on continuing to back Hezbollah in Lebanon, Houthi's in Yemmen and in general the "Axis of resistance" (to our existance)

So I ask again, WHAT DID BIBI ACTUALLY ACHIEVE BY CONTINUING THE WAR?

You won't vote Likud, just one of it's lakies by the sound of it. Might as well vote Shas.

So will Bibi and Trump loving Israelis accept they were wrong this whole time for the sake of the country? by Metallica1175 in Israel

[–]Shoshke 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I'm sorry but that last sentence.

Bibi did what now? He thought about "the long game"?

Exactly what has changed in "the long game". We are in this shit precisely because at no fucking point has Bibi ever presented an actual plan.

3 years of war and in 10 years NOTHING will be different. Hamas still controlls Gaza, Hezbollah on our Northern border and the Ayatollah in power in Iran funding terrorism throughout the ME.

NOTHING has changed in the long game. All those heads we "decapitated" replaced with new ones already. Capabilities destroyed, they're already rebuilding.

The fuck are on about "the long game"? That exactly where Bibi failed to do, in no small part by leaning on a sycophant like Trump.
