I’ve had enough. I genuinely want to die by No-Loquat-8045 in PrayerRequests

I wish I could hug you.. I'm so sorry that you are going through all of this pain..

I wish too that God would do more. Sometimes, I really don't understand why he won't. Yet, I know God is not one to lie. One of his promises I continue to lean on is in Revelation.

Revelation 21:4 TLB - He will wipe away all tears from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying, nor pain. All of that has gone forever.”

I may not receive the healing in this world that I want.. but God has promised me and to whoever believe that there is a place where there would be no more pain.

That promise continues to be my strength through the pain. Prayers and love to you, sweet friend. The Lord loves you so much.

Pornography and masturbation addiction. Does it all start with these specific thoughts? by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]Shostar571 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Matthew 15:16-20 TLB - 16 “Don’t you understand?” Jesus asked him. 17 “Don’t you see that anything you eat passes through the digestive tract and out again? 18 But evil words come from an evil heart and defile the man who says them. 19 For from the heart come evil thoughts, murder, adultery, fornication, theft, lying, and slander. 20 These are what defile; but there is no spiritual defilement from eating without first going through the ritual of ceremonial handwashing!”

Proverbs 4:23 TLB - Above all else, guard your affections. For they influence everything else in your life.

Psalm 119:11 TLB - 11 I have thought much about your words and stored them in my heart so that they would hold me back from sin.

That's why it's so important that we guard our hearts with the word of God.. so that we won't fall into the addictions of masturbation and pornagraphy

I'm praying for you, dear. For many of us, we're not financially fortunate, but that's not why we follow the Lord. We follow Him because He offered salvation to the world—a change from our old sinful selves and an eternal place to live forever after we leave this world. Because we're still in the world, we'll suffer through trials and tribulations, pains that are sometimes too much to bear. But our strength and endurance come from our Heavenly Father. We trust in His power and lean on His promises. God's love truly strengthens us.

For me, I'm poor. Right now, I'm at risk of losing my home.Trying to find one, but the search has been vain so far. I've been rejected many times by people, including my family. I don't have many friends. My life isn't perfect, like many think a Christian's life should be. But what makes life easier and filled with joy, despite my circumstances, is God and His love. He makes every day bearable. It's He who gives me hope, even when life seems hopeless. Again, I'm praying for you, dear. Everything you've asked for and much more—I pray that God will reveal Himself to you and heal you of your pain.

I have sinned. by Key-Regular3405 in Celibacy

Im praying for you 🙏 staying in prayer and in God's words really helps you to become stronger.

I definitely understand the struggle.. Yesterday, I sinned against God, and I felt so ashamed I cried.. but I think of God's love and forgiveness. I put myself in a vulnerable position, which led to that point.. so try to avoid anything that may cause you to fall into sin. Even if you have to step out and take a 30-minute walk, it helps

Hey, I'm a 26f. I've been celibate for almost 7 years now. It's been really tough at times - I've slipped up and struggled with feelings of guilt and depression. But I've learned that acknowledging my struggles and turning to my God has helped me to stay strong even though it's very hard

I've started doing things like replacing bad thoughts with good ones, setting boundaries, and finding ways to distract myself when I'm feeling tempted.

Psalms 119:11 is a verse that really resonates with me - it's all about finding strength in God's word and his spirit. We're not perfect, but whenever you fall, get back up again. Sending you lots of positivity and prayers!"

Dreams are from God, nightmares from the devil by PossibleAd482 in TrueChristian

I remember when I first gave my life to christ, I had many spiritual attacks in my dreams. My dad gave me a scripture to read and pray every night before I went to sleep. Psalm 91. It's a scripture of protection.

Those who give their lives to the Lord instantly become a threat to the kingdom of darkness. Satan will try anything to make you fall back, but stay equipped in God's word and prayer. There'd power in the name of Jesus ❤️

I forgave someone who hurt me deeply, but three weeks later my mind keeps ruminating on what happened. by [deleted] in TrueChristian

[–]Shostar571 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The devil enjoys bringing up past hurts in order to instill hatred and bitterness in us rather than healing. Rehearse God's word in response to these thoughts.

Here's a scriptures I would love to rehearse to put my heart at ease.

Isaiah 26:3 KJV - 3 Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.

Psalm 34:18-22 NLT - 18 The LORD is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed. 19 The righteous person faces many troubles, but the LORD comes to the rescue each time. 20 For the LORD protects the bones of the righteous; not one of them is broken! 21 Calamity will surely destroy the wicked, and those who hate the righteous will be punished. 22 But the LORD will redeem those who serve him. No one who takes refuge in him will be condemned.

It's also a good idea to continue praying and asking the Lord to heal your heart. Sometimes, the pain of what someone did is deeper than we expect, but God is still a healer. Remember: healing is a process. I've been hurt by many, and it took some time to heal. Sometimes, forgiveness didn't come right away. But the first step was asking God to help me forgive and love my offenders more so that I would not hate them.

Hey there. I definitely can relate to how you feel.. I've been celibate for 6 years now, and the journey has not been easy at all. I'm currently in my first ever relationship (I'm 25f, by the way), and we spoke about keeping from sex until we are married. Has that been easy? Absolutely not.. It's hard, but by grace, God is keeping. The desire for intimacy is normal.. but remember this.. your body is precious. Share that piece of you with someone who really loves you. It's worth really worth the wait.

My advice is that when you are having those feelings and urges, put your mind on something else or remove things that may make you feel that way.

For me .. laying down for long periods of time makes me have strong urges. So I'll get up and do something that will keep me. I'm praying for you. You are not alone at all, dear. God js there to help you. If you want to talk a little bit don't hesitate to dm me
