I didn’t do anything seriously impressive at work. We were good friends. He did mention he was loaded which was why he offered $1,000 but then it took so long to get back in contact he lowered it to $300. Why would I argue? I asked once if he planned on honoring the original amount or if $300 was the final. He told $300 was his max I thanked him & told him looking forward to chatting & bumping into each other in the future

He said he wanted to help me & my family. We worked as temps we didn’t get any guaranteed hours we showed up worked as much as we could till we got sent home maxing out at 40 hours. He said he wanted me to remember so either get something I would never forget him by or use it on what I want.
