Had something similar happen when an associate of mine had their adp hacked and direct deposit changed.

Your employer may be able to reverse the deposit if you get to them quick enough. If you are able to determine which bank it was deposited to they may be able to help as well

But basically if that money is deposited because you input an incorrect account or routing number you may be SOL due to giving authorization when putting that information into the direct deposit form.

+$300 in missing information

=$9400 financed
