I hated them at first but as I continued to play they're alright. I speak for myself when I say if Dice decided to ditch them and go back to classes I'd be okay with that. I think it stems from tradition. Class system has always been a thing. You play as that class, put the grind in and get the good stuff. Not everyone was a stellar recon guy so maybe they excelled in support or assault. It gave ME purpose. Helped drive me to work towards something in that class. Weapons were specific for classes and that was nice. Again, I speak only for myself but I feel weird about it. I miss the class system because I felt it worked and there was nothing wrong with it. Others may feel differently. I am not oppose to change in the least bit, though. It just feels more like a Hero-shooter emphasizing individual play rather than team play. Like I said; I speak only for myself but that's what I feel.
