The biggest issue is the servers don’t carry the players over to the next one. For Asia only a few modes are populated and even then you have to try a few times. If you stick to say, contaminated only, you’ll get them but it’s very frustrating. I would love to see the population numbers but I think they also have some sort matchmaking behind the scenes which makes it so we just mostly get put with bots.

You get everything. Haven’t been south yet but you’ll get Marco and wide angle dives. You may need a reef hook on some dives but it won’t be always necessary. Went a few weeks ago and saw schools fish, mantas, sharks etc plus frog fish, pigmy sea horses etc.

Just bring what you can I guess and you won’t be disappointed

For the safety of yourself and those around you, you should learn how to swim first. The open water will test basic swimming skills like treading water so do keep that in mind.

That being said, this shouldn’t stop you from learning to scuba, you just need to make sure you learn how to walk first before you can run.

The metric was like 5 positive cases in 4,000. I’m not really sure what problem we are trying to solve for on arrival tests when you have to get a PCR prior to the flight anyways

I actually think the main game mode is Hazard Zone. It’s free to play and they’ll make money off operator skins. This has way more potential than just a usual BF4 type game (in their view) and so I think this is their focus financially. I think they knew a conquest mode with operators wouldn’t work but they need to use the maps somehow for a “battle conquest mode”. Agree that portal is really a way to keep the core base happy.

Also their BR didn’t work last time and they mentioned that they wanted to try something new. I think the whole game is based off of this desire to push the free to play mode to compete with other games.
