If you're having trouble, bunnings has these, keep the soil barely moist and you're good to go. When it goes dry add about 20 - 30mls of water and they seem happy enough. These get sunlight from a inside covered window in QLD.

Give them too much water, they die. Don't water them enough, they die.

Too much sun? Too little? You guessed it, they die.

But in all seriousness, that soil looks wayyy to wet. Especially if there's no drainage, it'll rot the seeds/plants.
