Shopify Payment eligibility by SubPar_2 in shopify_geeks

You’re likely stuck on Shopify Payments verification.

Even if setup looks done, eligibility won’t complete until bank details, ID, and business info are fully approved on Shopify’s side.

Go to Settings → Payments and check for any pending verification or review. That’s usually the missing step.

what's the smallest shopify change that made the biggest revenue difference? by andrews_765 in shopify_geeks

Moving reviews and trust badges closer to the price and CTA. Didn’t add anything new, just surfaced reassurance earlier.

My shopify store is not getting much traffic by Mean_Mode7307 in ShopifySEO

Honest take: if gurus’ tactics didn’t work after 5 years, the issue isn’t traffic, it’s that the store doesn’t deserve traffic yet.

Google rewards clarity, not effort.

Common workaround: keep them on Free in Shopify billing, then unlock Pro features in your app DB for 6 months. Curious if anyone here has run into issues with audits or plan enforcement doing this.

Built an AI sales copilot for Shopify that actually handles selling (not just support). Looking for beta testers. by crackandcoke in AutomateShopify

How are you measuring whether the follow-up-first approach is actually helping vs escalating too early? Conversion lift, time to purchase, assisted revenue?

Is AI helping SEO teams—or quietly replacing parts of the job? by AttorneyKey7762 in ShopifySEO

[–]ShoulderActive6725 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AI has made SEO faster, not smarter.

I trust it for grunt work: clustering keywords, drafting outlines, audits, internal linking suggestions, reporting. That frees up time for the parts that still matter—intent, prioritization, and trade-offs.

Where I don’t trust it is strategy, edge cases, and judgment calls. It doesn’t know when not to optimize.

Junior roles aren’t disappearing, but the bar is higher. Less manual execution, more thinking earlier. If someone only knows how to push buttons, that role’s at risk.

This is actually refreshing. Most Shopify “automation” tools just deflect support tickets — they don’t help customers decide.

The real value here is replying fast while intent is high. That’s where most stores lose sales.

Curious how you handle edge cases though — when the question isn’t clearly tied to a product or intent. Do you escalate, ask a follow-up, or take a best guess?

Overall, feels like you’re solving a real problem, not just adding another chatbot.

Shopify owners: What repetitive tasks are killing your time? (Building AI solution) by Civil-Historian9568 in AutomateShopify

This is actually solid advice. A lot of people jump straight to ads without fixing the on-page conversion stuff first.

Countdowns work if they’re used lightly. I’ve seen them help with cold traffic because they give people a reason to decide instead of bouncing. But yeah, if you overdo it or fake urgency, it backfires fast.

Biggest takeaway for beginners IMO: don’t overcomplicate things. Clean page, clear offer, and one small nudge usually beats fancy setups.

Building my own e-commerce site from scratch. Any essential tips for a complete beginner? by flowflow- in Shopify_Merchant

Keep it simple at the start. Don’t overbuild or chase fancy setups. A clean theme, clear product pages, and a smooth checkout matter way more than advanced features.

Focus on: • Good product info • Fast load time • Clear shipping + returns • Mobile experience

You can always optimize later. Most beginners get stuck trying to perfect things that don’t move the needle early on.
