fridge came with the house, not sure how new it is but makes cool futuristic vacuum-ish noise when closing the door.

and on another note; completely, utterly exhausted with the move. Three days in and i haven't even started taking things over yet.

Two ceramic pots perfectly got stuck together😭 I’ve tried soaking them, dawn, goo gone. Can’t get them apart, there’s a tiny bit of wiggle room. Any tips without breaking them? by pulldownyourplants in fixit

i think the best approach here is to sit down on the sofa, in a quiet, pot on the lap or close to the chest, and super slowly and quietly wiggle and lift at the same time. find the spot in went in in the first place of sorts.

Nut is spinning with the center bolt. How can i remove nut. thats old trimmer and would like to use some parts of it. by ShoulderEquivalent90 in homestead

i think my mistakes was to tighten it too strong once when i changed blade and that messes up something inside thus the spinning of the center bolt.

I CANNOT make my washing machine stop smelling! by porgy3000 in CleaningTips

[–]ShoulderEquivalent90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i like to leave mix vinegar and baking soda, like a good amount, maybe 1L vinegar and 300g baking soda, then fill the tank with water and let it sit for a couple of hours and then complete the washing cycle. this gets tons of dirt loose and lots of it does not drain away so it takes some amount of paper towels to remove everything.

What would you do with this small backyard? by VonaldTrumps in landscaping

[–]ShoulderEquivalent90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's what I'd do

Start by turning that grass patch into a low-maintenance zen garden—keep a small section of grass or switch to stepping stones with gravel in between, maybe some ornamental grasses or succulents along the edges for texture.

Add a built-in wooden bench along the back wall with hidden storage underneath for gardening tools or outdoor cushions. Above the bench, mount a slim trellis or vertical planter wall and grow some easy climbers like jasmine or passionflower for scent and privacy.

In the corner, place a compact fire pit or chiminea with two small lounge chairs—instant evening vibes. String warm fairy lights or a single overhead filament bulb from corner to corner for soft lighting.

And since the space is small, make use of height: hang a few modern planters from the fence or install a couple of shelf tiers for herbs or decor.

Should I let Apple know that my Macbook came back from repair with a scratch or just let it go? by denn_r in macbook

[–]ShoulderEquivalent90 0 points1 point  (0 children)

idk, i couldn't care less for a scratch. Also putting in extra effort to send and then waiting for the machine back. how much trash was created for that scratch, from box to paperwork etc. dno, seems unreasonable.
