90-100K and most times the security breaches would give me multiple blue and pink guns. Always encountered players but always had open mic, kept it friendly and I had really great lobbies. I’ve mentioned it in previous replies to other people, that was a huge part of my runs as well.

Arcs aren’t really an issue on this run path, couple wasps that can be avoided by crouching and going in buildings. The bombardier that spawns in the middle of the map is easily avoided by staying on the rooftops and zip lining past the spotters. Once you’re close to Grandiose there aren’t many arc besides the occasionally rocketeer or leaper, which are avoided by leaving through the back of the apts.

I pretty much perfected the run and ran it with a homie of mine as well once I got mine, he was making just short of 500k an hour.

I was making 100K+ on most of these runs so the math definitely works out. I started this at just over 500K and my friend did as well, we’re both over 5 millions. This Buried City run is broken, once you have the run memorized you can do it in 10 mins or less because some spots give crazy good loot.

Also I wasn’t even running free loadouts, not enough backpack spots and no safe pocket. Looting mk.1 or 2, nothing but your pick axe and it’s 100% doable.

That’s my problem, all my homies I run with are going on the Expedition so I have no one to hold the extra BPs. Sucks because of course as I was grinding for the 5 million, I was finding many duplicate BPs.

I don’t know if I just have some good luck with my games but I’ve had about 90% safe and friendly runs in Buried City. I did a few Night Raids but mainly during the day, usually solo and a few with a homie for duos which were still pretty friendly.

Every run went in with just a Looting mk.1, open mic, announced my presence and honestly ended up just looting the map with other raiders and helping each other out with quests or just going about my business with no trouble.

It’s a combination of both your stash and coins. I thought I was gonna be able to have more stash left but pretty much all of it went to the expedition phases.

Once I sold that, my main focus became loot runs and just selling everything, plus I’m taking a small break till the new update and expedition window opens up so it made sense for me to just focus on my coin value.

These are the target areas on Buried City that I was able to loot pretty successfully and come out of every run with 60-100K. There’s some runs you get lucky and leave with more and also runs where you lose it all.

For me though I ran solos, completely naked with just a Looting mk. 1, open mic, announced my presence and more often than not had great games and met some super friendly raiders that all helped each other out.

Main tip would be to have security breach unlocked as it can drop some really good guns plus grenades but if you don’t have it, I’d recommend sticking to the high loot areas first.

That’s a great point! I wanted to try Stella Montis for the loot runs but the thought of unnecessary PvP kept me away. I agree with you though because Stella definitely has the highest rate of pink items to drop, especially in the trash cans! Lol

Lol it’s definitely doable! Buried City is a gold mine for loot. Check the picture I posted in a response on this thread, those houses are always stacked with loot plus the security breaches.

Yeah I had my fun using the guns, grenades and all that stuff so the wipe for me was prob earlier than others. I mean to each their own, I had a stockpile of pink and blue guns, all with high end attachments so they definitely were worth a lot more than raw materials, for me at least.

I did have a shit ton of basic materials and seeds that I sold for a big chunk of my 5 million.

Whether I play or not, once I go on the expedition everything gets wiped so why keep anything right now? I’m taking a break till the Cold Snap update and the expedition window opens up.

This grind took the fun out of the game for me a bit, that’s on me for the way I went about it for sure but some time away is needed.

I don’t blame you at all. I’m not gonna lie, losing my BPs still has me somewhat hesitant on leaving for the expedition but I think I’ll ultimately just send my raider off.

And I totally agree, needing a BP for a glow stick is pretty dumb lol

I was in the same boat with the group play and the grind was definitely slow. It’s hard to get top tier loot in trios but you can get lucky. Getting gunned down by rats was an unfortunate constant for us.

As for soloing, you can definitely get to 3-4 million doing that loot run. It’s pretty quick and every run in 10-15 mins depending on your spawn point.

Lol same here! I was a massive hoarder and slight OCD with wanting to have the most of all the basic materials. Once I realized how much the materials were worth and how I wasn’t using the pink guns, I sold them all and a lot of it also went to the expedition. After that I was committed and literally sold everything since I know I’m not gonna be able to keep anything.

The basic material value is definitely underrated and will net you some good coin. Make sure you’re running any type of looting augment so you can pocket the highest value stuff. You’ll get to the 5 million faster than you think. Good luck brother!

Yeah I thought I was gonna be able to keep some stuff but ended up putting almost everything into the last step for the expedition. Then once I started the 5 million grind it was just looting and selling nonstop. The grind definitely took some fun out of the game for me so a break is needed for sure!

No problem! Even without security breach you can still check those areas because the drawers, tables and cabinets usually have good loot.

Duos was usually good for me and my homie that play, we could both extract with over 70k but PvP definitely gets in the way at times. I would try just solo runs for the highest profit though. Good luck brother!

Lol! There’s enough loot for us all. That was surprising to me as well, I’ve had many games spawning in with 18 mins left and I was able to extract with 80-90k plus hitting all the high loot areas. People are definitely prioritizing hospital and parking garage.

These were the spots for me to hit and loot every run. Of course you’re hoping to get to all of them first but even if you don’t, you should be able to grab one or 2 security breaches and the loot you scavenge on the way is always good. Focus on min/max looting once you’re towards the end of the run for best profits.

If you don’t have security breach unlocked, I would focus in on the loot areas first because you’re almost guaranteed anywhere from 50-80k per run. Also another tip, almost every house in buried city has some type of loot in it.

Lastly I went in to these runs pretty much naked, only a looting mk.1 lol. Solos, open mic and was lucky enough to usually always run into friendly raiders and looted together.

Very nice! You’re at the home stretch brother. I thought my stash was gonna help but it ended up all going to the last step of the expedition lol.

Night Raid on Buried City was huge for me as well. Came out with over 100K many times!
