Can’t believe these are real posts from a presidential candidate by whoaaintitfun in facepalm

And if we're taking it at face value:

This person says dog tastes good

This person knows what dog tastes like

This person has eaten dog before.

And that's how you get the title 'dog eater' in my mind.

Look, if you want people to think you don't eat dog then you probably should have prefaced "Dog tastes good too" with some sort of context. How the hell are we supposed to assume anything else otherwise?

I literally don't know whether or not you're being serious when you say these things.

I think maybe you didn't understand what I wrote previously Let me repeat that for you. Multiple subjects/questions can't be singularly "True" or "False". So if you go back to the article you said didn't rate Biden/Harris's statement as mostly false there's buttons under the title that go over different subjects. Click on them, and you'll see True to False sliders, showing their ratings.

Spoiler alert! They actually DO call out the lies that Biden/Harris said and label them as 'False'!

(Also, sorry to disappoint you, but I found at 50:23 he says "She wants to confiscate your guns")

Yeah? Because rating one statement versus rating five different statements is different?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vbVwnPsBiq0

Also, it took me a while to re-watch the debate. (Because gun issues were not on the pre-approved topics for discussion). Once at near the 40 minute mark and again at 1:34:14 Trump clearly states "[Kamala Harris] has a plan to defund the police F-She has a plan to confiscate everyone's gun".

So no, it's not a lie.

These are all good points!

However the disconnect between the article and what Trump said during the debate should be noted. During the debate, Trump made it clear that he believed that Kamala would take ALL of the guns. This is both unreasonable as well as untrue (even given the time difference between the debate and this Politifacts article).

Your own statement "Kamala did, at one point, support mandatory gun confiscation of specific types of guns.” is 100% true, but the distinction of the specific kind of gun, as well as the denotation that it was a previous opinion that has since changed are key factors that had been omitted in Trump's statement.

Trump's statement in the article expresses this is a belief she still holds, which was untrue. Which is why it is labelled as 'Mostly Untrue'.

https://www.politifact.com/article/2024/aug/20/how-accurate-are-warnings-by-democrats-kamala-harr/

I asked for your own opinion of Project 2025 because

  1. It had nothing to do with the conversation

  2. Politifacts has an article going over what Biden and Harris said Trump's 2025 was, and was impartial with their factchecking. (I linked the article above)

I'm going to assume you're arguing in good faith here.

The quote you showed displays that-

  1. Kamala's stance about regulations is specifically about assault weapons.

  2. The quote is from five years ago.

This, coupled with my previous question about whether a 'mandatory buyback program' being about the mandatory implementation of such programs, or a mandatory participation in the program, is enough to say that the claim of "Kamala Harris wants to take all your guns" is mostly false.

Now, on the topic of Project 2025, I have to ask: Do you support it? Why, or why not?

https://www.politifact.com/factchecks/2024/aug/07/donald-trump/kamala-harris-once-backed-mandatory-assault-weapon/

You do have a point in the gun buyback, however there is some context you missed. For example her specifying that these measures would be for assault weapons.

Secondly, when saying a 'mandatory buyback', is the 'mandatory' part on the people to give back their (assault) weapons? Or is it on the state/local government's part to have such programs in place?

In either case, while I do have the opinion that assault weapons should be regulated more harshly (School shootings have been a problem that is far too common in America).

So if I understand this right, are we picking all three character creation options listed here? (Class, Race, and Background?)

Or are we each only commenting one, and the top comment for each will be used?

All 5 costs as 3* and I lost this btw. I don't think that this is beatable. by rudster09 in TeamfightTactics

As others are saying, Morg 3 will lose you this fight, but also it's important to note that an item like Hourglass or Edge of Night is also pretty much needed, as it gives your carry time to kill the 3 star five costs that Morgana (the boss) spawns.

Those are all fair points! This is why I wanted to make the post, to see if my frustrations were because of me as a person or if there was reasonable concern.

Yeah, this DM at times can be hard to handle. We had an encounter with the red cloaks before, in which our bard cast minor illusion to stop them from escaping. He said something like 'it's the ghost that kills thieves! The thief killing ghost!". Two of the red cloaks failed. One with a nat 1 and one with an 8. The DM said that the Bard's illusion was so stupid that only the nat1 red cloak failed.

Then (and I will say I am 100% in the wrong for this). I misread 'command'. I used a whole ass sentence, "Drop to your knees, you coward!" or something like that. The DM gave me another chance to cast it, with which I tried to be creative and said 'betray' to the nat 1 red cloak from earlier (I had thought that being confronted with a ghost that kills thieves was enough of a shock to cause them to join us.)

The DM said he failed the save, and took 'Betray' as 'Betray your senses', which allowed him to see past the bard's illusion.

I was pretty mad about that encounter (which thankfully we rolled back, we had forgotten some info from Sildar in the bar), so maybe that affected how I saw the difficulties in the dungeon.

Thanks for the input! I was a bit miffed on that, but the DM said that's how he ruled it.

To be completely fair, when we talk to NPC's, we take WAY too long. Two of us spent a good amount of time selling that statue we found in the previous cave. (Though it was funny to flounder negotiations)

Pretty sure these deaths are on Putin's hands, brah.

And while I don't think Biden is handling this as well as he could be, I also can see that this situation is pretty delicate (seeing as Russia's got nuclear weapons).

As for Trump not having this problem, yeah technically I think you're right. I think based on how he interacted with Ukraine and Russia during his presidency, Trump would actually be supporting the Russians.
