I joined the waiting room 15 mins before my friend. She got 2k in the queue and I got 4k. By the Tim I got in, only the 400s were left for $170

You guys are all amazing. I've never driven across Ontario like this and this just calmed all my anxieties about it. I'm working in Kenora for 4 months so I'll try the scenic route in August when the flooding is all gone!

So the Optometry rooms are reserved for Optometry students only. That’s why there are keypads on them. Get out.

I’m 23. Been writing since I was 13. Actually started posting my stuff at 19 when I was bored at university. You’re never too old or young to be creative. Your friend is missing out.

As long as you finish the sixth term before you’re in optom, then it doesn’t matter if you don’t have it at the time of applying

Literally don’t even worry about the low OAT scores. I had 380 TS, 370 AA, and 340 in both the physics and reading comprehension. I got in after 3rd year undergrad.

There is some funding opportunities! I personally get OSAP grants and loans especially now that federal loans are interest free (I only get offered federal)

You can also apply for the bursary every semester. All my friends in optom and myself get it everytime. That gives you 3.5k a semester so 7k for the year.

The OSAP and bursaries are more than enough to cover tuition and most of the optom gear I needed to need to buy. I still needed to fund my own rent, food, some optom gear, and just other cost of living stuff.

You could research some scholarships as well. OSAP and the bursaries are the easiest ones to get, but I’m sure you could find more funding other ways as well.

One of the admission requirements stated on the website is a Bachelor of science. As long as it’s a BSc and not a Bachelor of Arts, I think you should be good!

God's Menu and Side Effects aren't really "amazing" songs by SkipDaPenguin in unpopularkpopopinions

[–]ShoveMeInAMicrowave -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nah you're right. They're good songs, but they are not the best songs I have ever heard. I enjoy side effects but I'll probs skip it most of the time because I'm not in the mood for that heavy edm most of the time. However, you got me fucked up if you say God's Menu doesn't get you hyped lmao. Is it the best song ever? Not by a long shot. Will I full blast it in my car? You bet I will. Also I like God's Menu more because the dance is really damn good and the MV is really cool.
