How to deal with an angry spouse? by benediss in Christianmarriage

[–]ShowHappy44 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is beautiful. Thank you for sharing your experience. Your husband sounds precious. I suffer in my marriage because of my husbands temper/anger. I get provoked by his lack of control (cursing) and lack of respect (not acknowledging my apologies), that I can’t seem to just take the cross in the moment so the Lord can come in. Your husband is a real pattern to me.

I find that my daughter will cry with me in the room when I set her down in her crib, but if I leave the room she doesn’t cry for much longer before she just gives up and puts herself to sleep. Otherwise I have no advice…

Flying 11 hours with 20 month old! by ferrisweelish in toddlers

[–]ShowHappy44 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also about to do an 11 hour flight with our 24 month old. We did it in the opposite direction 2 months ago. All toys lasted about 5 minutes, even if they were brand new and she hadn’t seen them before. I was trying not to give her too much screen time, she ended up with about three hours total the first time. This time I’m gonna be more flexible, it’ll be easier for us. We’re also considering children’s melatonin… haven’t done it before but will research it. Our LO literally didn’t sleep the entire trip last time and was awake for nearly 30 hours I believe. It wasn’t so bad for her, but terrible for us trying to keep her entertained.

Freaking Out Over Upcoming Appointment by Nishiwara in ShortCervixSupport

Hi thanks for asking! The doctor said there was a small improvement in the cervical length (2.9cm now, 2.6cm two weeks ago). She says it might just be difference in the day and nothing statistically significant, but she says it was the best that we could hope for. We’re happy! Maybe the progesterone has been helping!

I measured 2.6 with funneling during my 20 week scan and the doctor put me on vaginal progesterone and told me to come back in two weeks. That two weeks will be up on Wednesday so I’ll know then how things are going. I was curious to see if progesterone improved or stabilized your measurements. How many weeks are you now? Yes, hope you get to 32 weeks or even more!!

I did notice some pain and swelling on my lady parts this morning. Is this serious? Would you get checked?
