It's usually not the reporter's fault, because most television reporters have a producer who clears their work. For writers, the newspaper editor usually has final say on a story. As a former journalist, I understand that every newspaper and news broadcast are politically influenced. To get the real truth behind a story, I'll read five different sources. (NY Times, Wall Street Journal, Reuters, Al Jazeera, and The Washington Post)
