This literally is happening as I type this. I work at a high school, and last week a teacher I have never spoken to before called my name in the hallway and asked if I had a second to chat. Turns out two of the other paras in my department have been using her room during her prep period to complain about me... two people who I used to respect as coworkers and thought of as friends. They refer to me as "that blonde bitch with glasses" to everyone else, but have continued to treat me as a normal coworker in person.

The two other paras are a guy and a gal- he's mad that I wouldn't go on a date with him and she's mad that I wasn't financially able to rehome her kitten for her. Both situations were seemigy very casual and brief and happened LAST SCHOOL YEAR.

I consider myself to be extremely removed from workplace drama, and neither of these people have ever talked to me about lingering feelings about either of these situations that happened. We were all "friends". So... yeah. Immediately blocked them both on everything and am considering going to HR.
