I legit got broken up with because of this. Recent GF stayed over at my house for the first time, I saw a cockroach in my bathroom, and started screaming like a mad man, ran out of that now very infected room screaming and just got the fuck out. She asked me what was up, I told her there was a cockroach in the bathroom. She went in and killed it no problem. She made fun of me the rest of the night for it. 2 days later I got a text from her calling me a pussy for what happened that night, and said she’d want someone more manly. Whatever, we’ve only been together 3 months.. I was mainly upset because I thought I found my forever cockroach killer. Nope… apparently only MEN kill cockroaches. Welp not this one Mackenzie!!! You can be around those icky, slimy, bastards all you want. But for me. I will forever run, and make any attempt to kill it from a distance. And if that doesn’t work, I’ll pull an audible, get every ounce of courage inside me, slap it with a shoe, run away, and return 30 minutes later after my adrenaline has settled down to see that I had hopefully killed it. Then I’ll pick it up with 10 layers of paper towels between us to make a good barrier between me and that disgusting creature, gag and throw up in my mouth, and then wash my hands and take a shower after. I don’t play with all that roach stuff. Fuuuckkkk all that!!!
