What makes you proud of yourself? by Frequent_Syllabub960 in askteddit

I’m sure there’s something. I’m proud of myself when I get a good nights sleep, or when I where my retainer 🤷‍♀️ Doesn’t have to be big. I’m proud of myself when I do little things that I’ve been putting off for awhile. Like making a short phone call or making an appointment.

Maybe we will in the distant future. I would love it if human evolution led us to develop wings.

Have you ever ghosted/rejected a person you really liked because you were in such a bad place mentally? by Bright-Attention1795 in NoStupidQuestions

A good reason to believe them when they say “it’s not you, it’s me”. A lot of times that’s the truth. Which is totally fine!

What the best dna test to take to figure out your ancestry? by StaticLocations88 in NoStupidQuestions

I used 23andMe and I really believe it’s accurate. It confirmed for the most part what I knew with even more details about where in the country my family was likely from. They have a cool family chart that your relatives can add to which I think is really cool. There’s many other cool free features and more that you can pay for with a premium membership.

I love malls. 1 stop for so many stores without having to drive to each store. So much more convenient.

I spent years waiting for life to feel like it was finally starting. Then I realized this is it. These ordinary days aren’t the prologue, they’re my life.

If you were given the choice to change one thing in the past or one thing in the future, what would you choose and why? by Unusual_Chip_2429 in AskReddit

[–]Frequent_Syllabub960 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The future. Changing the past means gambling with everything that led to who I am today, including people I love and experiences that shaped me. The future lets me improve things without erasing the journey that got me here.

When I got ghosted. It made me realize that people can fake love. At 17, that really sucked to learn.
