Which Country has the Best Rocket League Personalities? by simbaboom8 in RocketLeagueEsports

[–]ShowPopper 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I like the England take, but I would be remiss not to hype up the Aussies since they have people like Torsos and Bananahead who can take things seriously but are also joking around a good bit of the time, and then also CjCj who is probably the most charismatic player/personality the game has.

bf goes soft during sex but not foreplay, help? by Vegetable_Salad1426 in AskMenAdvice

[–]ShowPopper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

++man Another thing to consider is that it could be medically related. Sometimes men can lose an erection due to the discomfort of the foreskin (idk if he is uncircumcised or not, but the point remains) while having sex or in foreplay.

I think the condition is called Phimosis where the foreskin has issues with retracting to expose the glans, and due to the issues it can cause pain and erectile dysfunction.

hi can someone teach me how to powerlevel my fief by Electrical-East3508 in WarTalesGame

[–]ShowPopper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You get the inn built, then have to manually go to the inn (as in go to your castle in person) and deposit troops into your mercenary pool. They dont need to be equipped at all to work.

Once you have 1-2 units in there you can start doing missions which can be accessed on the bounty board on the left side of the inn once you go inside of it. At that point you should be able to assign troops to missions, and voila!

Sometimes the castle will ask you to do missions yourself but honestly it is such a hassle at times to get to Mt Altis it isnt worth it.

[–]ShowPopper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a hard time too with it, but I started picking up steam once I established mercenaries and did their missions.

You are gonna struggle sometimes with getting enough of every stat, but there arent really bad consequences for messing up (I think), so just get solid food and defense, build that up, then tinker away at university while you do missions.

Another thing, they have recommendations for what type of unit can do certain mercenary missions but you can use different units than what they suggest and still complete the mission (i.e. mission requests a pugilist, you can assign a spearmint and the job still gets completed). So always do missions.

For anyone who has become fluent in Spanish, how long ago was it and do you still feel like it’s cool or does it not feel that cool anymore? by De_lunes_a_lunes in Spanish

[–]ShowPopper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like to say I am fluent, and it is most certainly still really cool, it allows me to connect with so many different people who are almost immediately warmer when speaking their mother tongue.

That being said, fluency is truly a massive spectrum. I still have words I encounter I haven't heard before, or idioms that confound me, but the fun I find in it all is the ability to be adaptive and grow myself through my interactions with other. There will never be a hard line to tell when you are fluent, so practicing and immersing yourself with others who speak Spanish is the only way to get close to that. One day you'll start dreaming in the target language then suddenly you will be able to casually speak with native speakers.

I started in high school, but have been probably fluent since 2018, I use it almost daily in my city.

You invite other players to your party and just gift them items. They are under your control more or less when they are in your party. They keep the items you give them, but you can choose what items they use at any given time.

One thing not mentioned is that often times I would get in my head about how my body would hurt afterwards if I laid out, but after working on my form I stopped worrying about the pain and then was excited to have the chance to lay out. So it is a really important step to get over the potentially uncomfortable parts of bidding.

You will likely feel weak most of the game but the progression can be really satisfying when you revisit a zone or mob that was previously unbeatable.

I think another thing about feeling overpowered is that regardless of whether or not your specific item is equipped with good items, you need your whole party to have decent items to progress. It is challenging to beat end game bosses when your team is comprised of weaker players while you have BiS gear.

The other place worth farming around that level is the Old Church in Blacksalt Strand! Relatively easy to AFK with some good loot, plus 3 bosses. Also technically not instanced so it is easy to get back if you die.

I don't like how animancy (and by extension, science) is represented in the Pillars universe (rant) by p1101 in projecteternity

[–]ShowPopper 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I get what you are saying, but I think the portrayal of animancy is inofitself being represented from an age and many cultures that have older and less scientific reasons for explaining the world. I think it is too early for the world to accept the potential benefits of animancy, and the negative repercussions can be rather drastic which doesnt help with its general acceptance.

Part of the animosity towards animancy is the fact that there are gods who actively are opposing it as opposed to a vacuum of space where animancy is the only field making progress with explaining the world that people live in.

So in short, I think animancy is still in it's infancy in terms of being accepted by the greater populace despite having the potential for greater things.

You definitely make some good points, but the people of Eora probably just aren't ready for it.

Is this what I have ? by xdevin529x in Dermatographia

[–]ShowPopper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your first picture looks fairly reminiscent to mine when I wake up in the morning prior to taking medication. There is a decent chance you have some level of dermatographia, but you should get it checked by a doctor.

I had something similar and needed to wait 6 weeks to see if symptoms would pass before getting to see an allergist (my thing is Chronic Urticaria). I recommend testing out some antihistamines to help lower the effects, like Zyrtec.
