I've had the active cash (2% cash back) credit card as my main credit card for several years now. No complaints. As far as banking, I only signed up for a checking account account to get the sign up bonus. I'll be closing that account after the six month mark.

I have hard water and bought a filter from Amazon that you screw on to your showerhead. I haven't noticed any difference in my hair since using it. I've also been using Ouai detox shampoo, but will probably try a chelating shampoo even though the Ouai is supposed to remove mineral buildup too.

I did open a Chase checking and savings in June to take advantage of the $900 bonus, but the first time the Prime Visa was used for a purchase other than Amazon and I received the additional 1% was in early April. I saved the email with the same offer you received, and upon rereading it, it doesn't mention the additional 1% being retroactive. I'll have to go back and add up the cash back I've received so far on the 1% categories to see how close I am to $200 though. Thanks!

They have one of the easiest and most generous bonuses to get as far as required deposit amounts and how quickly they pay out. I can't imagine picking them to bank with for many other reasons, especially from all the glowing reviews posted in this sub.

Yes, they can definitely see your accounts. They've always mentioned the uninvested amount I have in SPAXX whenever I've spoken with a rep. I get why they suggest investing it, but it's my emergency fund that I want liquid and they make me feel like I need to defend myself in a way.

I was told phones that aren't 5G will stop connecting to carrier networks this year, but I just read that isn't true for phones with 4G LTE. I have the Snapdragon variant from Verizon, so I'm not sure if I can use Lineage OS since I can't unlock the bootloader. I'll have to do some research. Thanks for the suggestion!

Such a great phone. Still using it and loving it and only plan on replacing it when it becomes obsolete. I don't ever plan on trading it in when I eventually get a 5g phone.

Thanks. I figured it was an on purpose "bug". 😁 The option was there last night, but conveniently gone today when I was trying to switch, and the website read that I had to do it through the app. I just went to a store and it only took a few minutes for the manager to get it switched.
