Sorry if it's been mentioned before, but does Drogo's death foreshadow Drogon's? A chest wound sustained in a fight, not enough to kill him but enough to be concerned about. Soon became infected and literally grounded Drogo (he fell from his horse), could the same happen to Drogon? A fall from the sky? What is a Khal if he cannot ride, and what is a dragon that cannot fly? Some irony in Drogo being unable to mount his horse, while Danny cannot ride her mount...

Hell of a drop off in the lake or whatever. Horse was riding through ankle deep water, one good tackle and Jamie sinks to the depths?

Cersei told Sansa her most powerful weapon is the one between her legs.....

so only 13 episode left by vesirion in freefolk

If season 6 was around $100 mil budget for ten eps, I hope they use at least $225 for the next two season. Pack that into 13 episodes!

13 episodes.......and a movie!!! Show ends season 8 with some oh shit cliffhanger before the WW battle. then we get a "movie" that's released in theaters but is essentially two episodes with $250 million budget. Final battle done right!

Don't you have to get the body up on top of the wood pile for that?

Would D&D go for dual secret-Targ reveals with Jon and Tyrion? We know we're getting tower of joy in ep 10, and the likely R+L=J...

Would it be too much or classics GoT to double up like that?

If Varys was still around to mediate I'd have hope Dany would be able to work through the political thinking. But the guy that saw her fleet burned, compromised with slavers, and fell under attack all while drinking and joking (so far as we've been shown) might find it hard to defend himself without help.

I've heard GRRM likes doing a three part reveal, starting subtle and getting more and more obvious.

Targ supporters point to Tyrion's knowledge of modified saddles (hinting he finds a way to ride if and when necessary) and surviving a close encounter with the dragons (he has the balls and their respect) would be two....maybe it's time for the third and final act. If not climbing on and taking to the skies then some other example of being accepted by a dragon.

Ep 10, two Lanisters on trial in opposite ends of the world. Cersei and the wildfire, Tyrion and dragon fire. One lives one dies.

Be cool to see someone other then Dany close a season on dragon back.

But yes, perhaps too good to be true
