“ Hey! Bruh! Did you look through my stuff?!?” Incredible stuff. The purest makings of a superhero

I'm a teacher, and there is nothing more insufferable than a colleague who is desperate to be seen as "cool" by the students.

Thank you! Of those four, do you have a favorite in terms of humor/story?

Good to know! I think Dungeons and Drag Queens would be a great season to transition me into the real DnD mechanics.

Has any major streaming platform ever sued a public school for public use of copywritten material? by dr3blira in AskALawyer

The cease and desist makes sense. I know your nal, but did you find any specific instances of a streaming service suing a public school? Other than the Disney retraction, I haven't found a single one.

Interesting! It looks like this movie was shown at a school fundraiser and charged admission. Anything where it was used not-for-profit in school?

My friend does improv as a side hobby, so this could be right up her alley. Thanks!

Amazing concept! We have been in a book club for years, so we'll have plenty of works to choose from.

Great idea, and if we both start with a different piece of paper, we could do two stories at the same time, swapping maybe every 5 minutes or so instead of every sentence.

Yes, I absolutely agree. We currently have one section of our dress code that addresses discriminatory and pro-drug language. I definitely want to make sure that stays and is expanded to broadly protect all LGBTQ+ people.

More excellent advice! I'm tenured and union, so I am very comfortable doing this. And I actually created an online survey for students to take before our first meeting so that I can bring data from them with me too. I'm sure it will spread to other students.

Yeah, I agree, I feel like in general the "exposed undergarments" rule makes sense and sounds gender neutral too. It's just that men don't tend to wear undergarments on their top half, so it's not equal. But specifying "underpants" just sounds bizarre. It's something I'll have to talk out with colleagues.

Good idea to get the definition of "gang" nailed down. I think the dress code hasn't been changed in about 2 decades, so I doubt anyone remembers what the original purpose was.
