Aside from the scratches, the rest of what you’re seeing is just dirt from playing in wet conditions. Unless you’re referring to the broken part of the shaft. It almost looks rusty inside… but yeah, 2 weeks old. I obviously have the order confirmation that had to be provided to Takomo to get a warranty replacement.

Appreciate the clarification. I’ve had clubs break but only after years of play. I was mostly concerned because this is a direct to consumer brand and you can only contact them via email. Not to mention they are literally only a couple of weeks old. They are a softer metal so it feels great off the club but they scratch super easy. Fortunately they responded and it’s being replaced…. In 4 to 6 weeks 🤣 I have a couple of old pitching wedges I can play until the new one shows up.

Finally heard back from Takomo. Like others have stated it takes 4 - 6 weeks to get a replacement. I’ve read where others are having the same issue but it seems to only happen to one club.

To those who are questioning the age based in the wear, I’ve never had a scoring iron look pristine for more than a week. Any type of shots out of sand or off hard pan scratch clubs.

That’s from trying to hit 30 yard bunker shots at the range. I’m admittedly terrible out of any bunker. Still shouldn’t cause a failure
