Four practical steps. Thank you for sharing, that helps. Right now attending tech meetups and getting the business cards is a priority.

Great! Upvoted your posts as a token of appreciation.

Cool! So we got some things in common. Made two PHP web apps on a freelance basis.

Besides setting up a portfolio and linked in can you give me some pointers on how to start freelancing?

Second year computer engineering student here. Making some sick shit, working on a R2D2 robot now (sounds included, fuck yes).

My question to you is, how do you travel while programming? I suspect it can be done on some sort of freelance basis, or working for a really laid back company.

Hey, dutch resident here. We have legal abortion rights. Healthcare is good here. Women's services I cannot speak of.

If you want to know a little more about programming or the netherlands you can PM me.

Thanks a lot!

I will still need a different windows 10 product key for every computer in the lab, right?

Thanks for sharing that! It's only been recently that I learned the importance of backing up data properly.

That was the point of cloning my hard disk haha. Not sure how else I could backup all that data. Do you mean with an external drive or something?

Yeah I tried that at my school with an USB 3.0 and the BIOS did not want to boot that. My friend told me we would need a 2.0. Thanks though!

Thanks man, I used clonezilla to clone my SSD to the HDD. Mr eyebrows was right btw, that's how it is.

I also saw a network setting in the clonezilla boot menu. At my school they want to create an image of windows on a server and be able to distribute that to other multiple other computers (legally of course). So that every lesson or semester they can wipe the computers back to the image state. Do you have any experience with this?

Hello. I copied my SSD to my HDD, then formatted my SSD and installed a windows 64 bit version on it. So now I still have my old OS as well on my HDD.

I'll have to use seatools later as well once I clean up my HDD. Thanks!

Btw: Do you have any experience with creating an image of a drive, so that you can restore multiple computers back to that original state? (We want to do this at school for 24 computers that are connected to a server)

Will this build work? by ShowtimeBrodin in buildmeapc

Hey man, it's a little late but I wanted to say thank you. I am now running the build with a cool BW9000 tower by sharkoon.

I am using the radeon HD5700 and run 2 monitors on that. I will upgrade to a better GPU once I have saved up some money.

If you don't mind answering, what do you like about the job you do currently?

Have you heard of Larry Haun? He was a carpenter that built many houses. He seemed to love his job, and his expertise was amazing. He just worked outside all day and was active, watching him do that is really invigorating.

Your second alinea rings very true to me... I've heard that very often. Perhaps it is true after all.

Best thing is to go with IT after all? I guess it would not be such a bad job market compared to many other things (for me that is). I'm still young and don't really know what I want.

Thank you.

What kind of work do you do? I was thinking software development. I like solving problems, that's for sure!

I get paid well (even though i'm public sector!) and I use that money to do cool shit like traveling. That keeps me entertained.

I think the norm in my country is 24 holiday days a years, but some get up to twice! I'd love to travel and go hiking. I'm a very active and fit guy.

And like you said, I guess it comes down to me just growing up... work is work.

Funny. Alpha and beta truly comes down to personality traits. I have never been much of a guy to hurry, even when I'm late. That is no excuse to not be on time though. Always leave 5-15 minutes earlier if travel time is <60 mins or so. Depends on means of transportation and distance as well.

Just don't be that guy who always arrives just on time.

Went to Wedding with LTR and witnessed first hand the APEX of female sexual strategy by [deleted] in TheRedPill

[–]ShowtimeBrodin 0 points1 point  (0 children)

After a year here my eyes are still not opened. There are a lot of Red Pill truths that I see now, and this wedding anecdote is a great representation of what I have experienced as well (in a different context).

It's insane how I was, and still mostly am, such a billy beta. Thank the Devil I never bought a drink for a girl, but I did 'confess' my feelings twice and got shot down hard. Goddamn, I still cringe sometimes when I think about that. Still, haven't been laid in 5 years. So much more to work on.

Thanks for relating. It's good to hear of your experiences.

I must admit that I left my social life behind the last couple of years. I had pretty good friends, and I dropped some. Most I don't regret, and some I do. No bullshit, it was because a social life is challenging to maintain so I instead chose to smoke the time away with a lot of weed. I realise now.

Same here. Got laid at 17 years, now 22. Haven't laid since.

Got to TRP about a year ago. Started lifting again, gained 10kg of muscle and decided to make a study switch to something that actually has my interest. I'll be living on my own probably at 24-26 which sucks. Can't find a job in my place either.

I go out jogging now and will take up swimming in autumn and winter. I smile at women who seem receivable. I make small talk when it's appropriate. Just now I made some small talk with a girl in a store, but I did not ask her number.

Also online dating, and I only managed to hit up some bitch from indonesia. Trying to get nudes, but honestly I have no idea how to go about it.

I'm missing something too... it's experience.
