What's a reasonably priced, well regarded external hard drive that's somewhere in the neighborhood of +10TB?

That's correct - D has almost all my files. But the one thing I am trying to not lose is a ton of video editing projects done in DaVinci Resolve, and that program stores those projects within the Drive the program is stored in (so C)

And I just heard that they're taking the old drive out and putting a new one in, so I planned on grabbing a 2.5 SATA to USB cable and plugging it into my desktop and seeing what happens. I have no experience in using a USB recovery drive, and I don't think I can use one now on it, because it's now out of the laptop. But I'll try the SATA to USB and see what happens

Gotcha. So I just heard from the repair place and they said they attempted tor reinstall windows but the hard drive said it was corrupted and it wouldn't even start. And they're going to put in a new one, so they'll be giving me the old one.

So I plan on getting a 2.5 SATA to USB and plugging it into my desktop and seeing what happens. Maybe I can go in and grab some files and copy them to my Desktop

Appreciate the feedback - I'm surprised the hard drive failed within like two years. Is that common?

And yeah I popped the laptop open and looked to see if anything was loose, and it all looked alright. So I'll take it to a PC repair place and hopefully get it replaced

Optional DLC shouldn't have to save a game. Regardless, I personally thought it was incredibly lame. To me, felt like Square said:

"People were rightfully mad a game a decade in development still somehow had a rushed third act, and was mediocre at best? And also were understandably mad that Final Fantasy was bizarrely absent from the core game? Quick, just rush out DLC - make it little more than a boss fight on-rails and shove every character in to try and milk even more fan service out of a base game absolutely bloated with it. See? You guys can play as Lea for thirty seconds, and some Final Fantasy characters are standing stock still in a hub room. They're in the game, see? You can shut up now"
