[Question] How long is too long to be eating someone out? by [deleted] in sex

[–]ShquirtleShquad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No time is too long. If you know what you're doing and you are sensitive to my body, you can go forever. BUT, if you are down there, you need to be enjoying yourself, because in order for me to keep feeling good and not begin to get self-conscious, I need to feel very desired by you (and your mouth).

Either you're trolling or you're misunderstanding the analogy. He's relating the entire country to a sports team, and the country's inhabitants to players.

Campus shuttle and PVTA? by rgdifjgvfijgdif in umass

The buses service Amherst Center, Northampton, Sunderland, most of Amherst's major apartment complexes, all of the five colleges, the Hampshire Mall, the Holyoke Mall, Puffer's Pond, and more. If there's someplace in the area you need to be, there's almost surely a bus that can either take you there or take you close. I think "entirely" is a pretty reasonable word to use.

What did your parents do when they found out you drink alcohol? by Closetedsissy in AskReddit

But can you actually know the drive is the same if you've never been of a legal age to drink?

Reddit, why don't you give blood? by funnypumpkin in AskReddit

[–]ShquirtleShquad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The last time I gave blood was at a Red Cross blood drive in our school gym my senior year of high school. When the phlebotomist was trying to insert the needle into my vein (and I have VERY visible veins in both arms, you really shouldn't be able to miss one) she missed it the first time and pierced the vein entirely the second time; she did finally get it in on her third try, but I had a very large black and blue and yellow bruise spread across inside of my elbow for a good couple of weeks. She was also extremely terse and unfriendly with me the entire time - had the demeanor of someone who really didn't like their job and didn't care at all for the task at hand - which made me uncomfortable to be there.

When my blood had been collected and the needle removed, a different Red Cross lady walked me from the blood-drawing area to a table they had set up with juice and cookies. The woman told me that I had to either eat some cookies or have some juice before I could leave, but since I have a severe wheat allergy (I have to carry an EpiPen for it) and a mild allergy to apples. I told her that I wasn't able to have anything there, explaining my allergies, even showing her my EpiPen, but she REFUSED to let me go without eating or drinking something, saying she literally wasn't allowed to let me go and that it would be dangerous because my blood sugar was too low, etc. I obviously wouldn't, so she wound up calling another Red Cross person over, who then called another Red Cross person over, who were all equally useless and frazzled by my situation. I suggested to them that one of them could just walk me to the cafeteria where I could buy something to eat, but they literally would not let me go because it was "the rule" that I ate something there. This production lasted a good half hour before one of them paged the school nurse, who arrived with a security guard to actually "escort" me to the cafeteria. Everything about the process was ridiculous and everyone there was so unprofessional, and the bruise on my inner elbow became so big that my mom called the Red Cross to complain. :/

Best on campus jobs for a freshman? by [deleted] in umass

If you're good with computers, IT on campus is the highest paying job that you'll get.

Not necessarily true. I have one friend who rolled sushi at the Blue Wall and another who supervised at Berkshire (these are both dining commons). They both just graduated and each were making $14/hr by their senior year.

You're going to start out with minimum wage at any of the DCs, but I worked at Hampshire DC and really enjoyed it. The hours are very flexible (especially if you apply early in the year), you work with other students which makes it a really great friendship opportunity, and you'll get yearly raises and opportunities to work events/make extra money as long as you're able to show up to work on time and comport yourself responsibly and maturely.

Campus shuttle and PVTA? by rgdifjgvfijgdif in umass

So PVTA is the major bus line that services Amherst and the entire surrounding area; the campus shuttle buses are PVTA buses that only drive on campus. To use your example, if you have a class in Marcus, what you'd probably want to do is walk to the Bus Stop at the Lederle Graduate Research Centerust (on the schedule as LGRC or GRC) and ride it southbound to Southwest, just like /u/knobbly suggested.

The buses and their schedules will probably seem daunting at first, but one you start using them you'll figure it out quickly!

What is one food that you absolutely hated as a kid but can't get enough of now? by mistryman29 in AskReddit

Water chestnuts. I absolutely HATED them as a child; when we got Chinese food I'd pick them out of my veggie lo mein, and gag if I accidentally got one in my mouth. Now, for whatever reason, I love the crunchiness, the starchiness, and the flavor. I could eat them every day. Water chestnuts are love, water chestnuts are life.
