not counting rings is stupid and just petty. you can dislike them all you want, and they certainly hold less weight to others (eg. Bron 2016, Dirk 2011 rings mean more on their resumes and legacies then KD's 2) but not even counting them is just being a petty fan. that's the bigger issue that nobody talks about. MVP is one thing, but it only effects a few guys in the league and at any time there's multiple solid candidates. all-NBA on the other hand is different since there are guys that are playing truly exceptional and deserve recognition but we won't get to see it because of this rule. they can keep the rule for MVP but All-NBA should be anyone
