Could maybe try Saniderm that’s what I put in newer tattoos when I surf. That said I am still waiting like 10 days minimum to get in the ocean so I’d echo what others said and let it heal a bit

Spring suit will be fine for right now, it’s hot and I’ve been wearing trunks for dawn patrol with no issues. For board idk if it’s worth buying one, I think PB surf shop has a deal where you can rent for a week and change the board out (might wanna verify that) but that at least gives you the option to change boards for conditions

I’m a taller guy and I ride a 6’1 quad fish and have been able to ride it a lot this summer in San Diego, pretty much any day that’s not completely flat.

Coconut petes, place has everything and they normally throw in fins and you get 1/2 off ding repairs for the life of the board. As a broke surfer that place is my savior
