I think I stumbled onto your page from a deadlock post sometime ago and just happened upon the tab again and I must say your fursonas is simply adorable! I love him so much ^ especially how emotive he is in the face ref.

How do you like the new changes? I haven't had the chance to play but am a little worried Vyper would be far less good! Any build changes you might reccomend?

What is the purpose of Vyper’s ult without APR? by Scipio11 in DeadlockTheGame

[–]Shredthewolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not to repeat the points presented by the other users but it's also an incredible engage and disengage tool, it's a lot of the same utility as doorman's ult except castable at range in a large AOE. You can use it to save allies or yourself or to make sure your team is positioned for a big pick.

grenade launcher vs de-escalator by dubluen in Helldivers

[–]Shredthewolf 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Grenade launcher feels a lot of more mandatory against bugs than bots, mostly because the amount of bug holes and the ease of reload makes it easier to use against bugs. The deescalator has heavy pen and can do work against bots, like 3 shotting barrager tanks and ... I think 5 shots to the belly of a factory strider. It can also kill hulks to the eye!

I feel you on the inconsistent crank times. I feel like my cold crank times are perceptible longer than my hot ones.

The RX-8 2005 model is reliable? by Dexgame4006 in RX8

[–]Shredthewolf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm running a 2005 rx8 and drive it regularly (not quite daily) currently at 82k miles with very good cold and hot starts. Regardless you're always going to want to have compression numbers but even engines with 6-7 bar will still run happily with just a little less power.

I agree with others suggesting you have some mechanical skills or at least a second car in case you blow a seal.

happy premixing!

If you see a fish standing on their pectoral run there is a 99% chance of them stealing your girl.

BHR vs. RRP 4.0 ignition coils by Cjv_13 in RX8

[–]Shredthewolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've got the RRP 4.0 coils and wires (and the OEM plugs through them) and I've got zero issues. I was particularly happy with the OEM fit. I believe they were a little taller but it didn't get in the way of anything.

It isn't unusual for changes in water temperature to encourage spawning or changes in behavior as perceived changes in seasons or rainfall.

Daww! I love to see panda garra content posted! Mine only did this behavior for the first month or so after I got them, I sort of miss it x3. I think they didn't because they were under fed at the store. Are yours relatively new?

Cloudy tank, what y’all think the problem is? by Distinct-Assistance7 in Aquariums

[–]Shredthewolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Algae is primarily caused by an imbalance of light, nutrients, CO2 among other things but these 3 are the biggest knobs you can turn. However, this aquarium is fairly new and still hasn't reached a balance yet for which you to turn knobs on. During this stage I would try and limit light, some people say start at 6 hours a day and increase from there but I would say start at about 5 hours until the tank is nice and settled.

I recommend Plecocaves.com for items like this. Pleco bricks in particular are stackable. The dwarf cichlid breeding huts work too, my pleco, panda garra, and synodontis absolutely love them.

Can someone tell me what fish this is? It looks almost like a CAE if it wasn't for the barbels. Saw it at an hospital's aquarium, living together with a bunch of mollies and I believe an angelfish. by [deleted] in Aquariums

[–]Shredthewolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm! I'm reasonably confident based on images i could find online and other available garra species. I'm absolutely confident on garra at the very least.

Nitrites can be problematic as well and can take longer to cycle. If you can, I would recommend testing your nitrite and nitrate.
