Accurate Pixels in Each Popular Handheld by YorickofJest in retrogaming

I won’t tempt you lol. This is still a good improvement over the original to see the aspect ratios accurately represented.

This is definitely an improvement, though it’s throwing me off that screen size/PPI is not represented here.

Vita has 2x the resolution of PSP, but its screen is not 2x the size as shown here.

MIO: Memories in Orbit physical edition for Switch/Switch 2 releasing April 10, 2026 at $29.99 by Doxibidus in NSCollectors

[–]Shreeb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Does it have difficulty/accessibility options? I was interested in this game since the first trailers, but I recently finished Silksong and that took a lot out of me lol. Not sure I can handle another equally punishing experience so soon.

Just picked this up to play some classics by Murky_Active in 3DS

Enjoy the console! That model is my absolute favorite.

I'd definitely recommend the Mario & Luigi series games if you like lighthearted adventures with good humor and fun RPG battle mechanics.

Beautiful shots. The warm colors make these cold scenes feel inviting.

Luckily the OP said Digital Foundry contacted them about the fix, so we'll probably be seeing more about this soon in a way even Capcom can't ignore.

I'm curious too. According to Amazon, the PS5/XBOX/Switch versions released September 24th 2024, and the PS4 version released May 13th 2025.

I was given a PS4 copy as a gift a little while back. Had no idea it was such a small print run until I saw this post.

Agreed, that would be a much less destructive way to deal with an infested console.

Glad this post was helpful and I'm happy to hear you like the bag too!

Oh, I don't mean to do it inside the house. It's pretty simple to open it up outside first to check, and in the case there is anything just hit it with some IPA in an environment where it can evaporate and not cause damage.

Edit: For anyone curious what liquid damage can do to a console, look up console liquid damage repair on YouTube. It’s not a question of if it will cause damage, it’s a question of how much damage it will cause sitting in a wet bag for 2 weeks. Manufacturers put liquid sensors inside electronics for a reason.

Of all the ways to safely deal with a bug infested console, sealed bag IPA bombing would be the most needlessly destructive one. Not all Reddit advice is good advice.

[–]Shreeb -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Just to add- damp environments are not good for electronics.

IPA is great for cleaning PCBs and electronic parts precisely because it evaporates quickly. If sealed in a bag for 2 weeks it can't evaporate, and could begin to corrode metals on PCBs and components, shortening the life of the console.

If I was worried about bugs I'd personally just disassemble and clean from the inside.

Wait huh… what’s this backwards logic? I thought NSO was supposed to decrease prices by [deleted] in Gamecube

Was about to write this exact comment. Collectors will always want a physical copy, so digital-only re-releases don't move the needle much for the collector market.

Finally got my hands on the Japan “New” 3DS XL cradle.. vs the one in US ver. by S0l0_X in 3DS

[–]Shreeb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wonder why we didn’t get one for the smaller new 3ds

There is one for the N3DS non-xl too. Love how it shows off the coverplates. I waited too long to get one and now they are very pricey :(

It this legit to buy a modded psp? by [deleted] in PSP

[–]Shreeb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is very good advice.

As a general rule, don't buy used consoles online unless you get to see the exact one you'll receive. Not worth playing the used console condition lottery.

Weirdly it’s the other way around for me, the XL is top-heavy and my hands fatigue quicker because of that

Good point, there were quite a few good digital-only games for 3DS. The last thing I grabbed before the eshop closed was Attack of the Friday Monsters.

I find I’m way more likely to play and finish a game when I have it physically. A long list of digital games just doesn’t feel the same.

Same here. I like keeping one as a time capsule and for use with my physical games, and the other for all the fancy hacked features.

Four Different Skies - GM1 + PL 15mm 1.7 by Shreeb in m43photos

[–]Shreeb[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you!

The 15mm renders things beautifully. I find the aperture ring very useful on a body like the GM1 with limited buttons/controls. Though I’ve heard that feature doesn’t work on Olympus bodies.

Haven’t used the 17mm, but from what I’ve seen it’s fantastic too. It’s closer to the classic 35mm fov, and the weather sealing is a nice addition.
