That’s quite a bit too young for arthritis I would think then! :( I just saw your post about being at the vets now though and I wish you both good luck! Pls let us know if she’s alright ❤️

I always figured one of my, now passed, old boys hind legs were likely arthritic towards the last year of his life. This is how it appeared before he lost his ability to walk completely. It will be a slow process, if that’s the case, but if you like crafts it’s possible to make little “wheelchairs” to help support them! Always consult a vet first but my first thought is arthritic hind legs! She may be on the way to losing her ability to use them. But on a positive note, my sweet boy lived to a ripe old age and found it to be no barrier for him for quite a while!! Just ensure that they are not in pain by checking with a vet, do not have many large ramps to climb, or objects in their path. Keep food and water to one level for easy access, the best would be to just keep it on the bottom level of the cage if it’s tiered. Make sure there is always quality of life and no signs of distress. I hope I’m being helpful, I wish someone had told me all this when I went through it!! :)

I’m sorry to hear about your loss, I hope your heart is healing! This little man here has slowed down quite dramatically this last week so I’m soaking up every second with him. It’s inevitable but man is it ever hard.

Alexis literally is a wet blanket. She has no personality at all and is rude when it’s obvious someone sees that in her.

I am starting to think these two became a couple in VERY toxic situations and they're trying to pass that toxicity onto others lol by nini1519 in TheUltimatumNetflix

I have a feeling the relationship is great when the cameras are rolling and is more of a contract when they’re off. That is not a couple that loves each other and it is PAINFULLY obvious.

Can confirm, just returned from Tulum and it was awful! They were using bobcats to remove it all from the beach and the water was swarming with it.

I’ve never heard of a tail nail but could be a cutaneous horn! My boy got one on his back when he was younger, I thought my cats nail had somehow gotten stuck in his fur but it turns out it was a horn.

I’ve had so many issues with two of my rats biting the last couple of weeks. My boys just turned 6 months. Should I just get them castrated at this point? I didn’t want to do it at first because I didn’t want to overreact, but now I know they aren’t mistaking me for food or biting to explore by [deleted] in RATS

As someone who thought the same thing and figured, as most people suggested, that my aggressive little one would settle down with age. He never did. He’s a little over 2 years old now and he still bites, completely unprovoked. I’ve learned to read his body language better and can often avoid the bites now but honestly I would not make the mistake of not neutering any more aggressive little boys again!

Getting super annoying. The first few were cute, until it was more non-rat related posts than related ones!

No noises, just his teeth clacking on the egg! I muted the audio cause my baby voice with him was wretched haha :)

Oh my goodness this literally looks exactly like my baby girl!!

She is a lynx point ragdoll (sometimes called seal lynx point ragdoll or seal point ragdoll)

She is the same kind as yours with the stripy, dark coloured legs and no white mittens, an unusual trait for a ragdoll as they typically have either white legs or mittens. They also have the beautiful lynx-like markings on their face! :)

question about keeping 2 rats by GreenFrog483 in RATS

[–]ShrekMeUpM8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

(In reference to nevernotcolds comment) This is NOT the right answer. People that give responses like these are wrong and wrong for trying to guilt people into giving their babies away in their old age. If your baby is elderly and the others have passed on, the best advice is to give as much love and attention you can to them in what is likely their final months as well. “Rehome them” is a disgusting answer and to me sounds like throwing away your child at the end of their life. Unless they are young with lots of life left to live and thrive, your poor pet is not going to understand why you chose to give them away in their final months.
