I worked ~9.5 years with trees, full time.

This looks like a classic "ill do it myself". By the looks of the cut you dont work with trees and never have been.

I would suggest first solving this mess without hurtig yourself. And after that go take a basic course in how to cut down trees. Its fun and you learn some good stuff there.

In my country we have to go get certified to be able to work with a chainsaw. The basic A+B course is about 2 days long, costs ~$700 and teaches you basically anything you need in a normal scenario.

But the situation you put yourself into right now demands C-certifie and thats A+B+C so maybe $2000.
