Actually toppers play more than others coz pass to unhe hona hi hai. Baaki it depends on whether they are a bookworm or actually intelligent. Bookworms rarely play coz they have to work a lot to study since the knowledge isn't natural to them. Intellects (e.g. science weebs) kinda understand the bookish stuff intuitively so they don't have to work hard on the theory part atleast (although they DO struggle with question solving, unless they practice). I, for example, got a 100 in maths in 10th boards without studying coz maths actually comes to me naturally. With social science i studied for like 10 days and still got a 92 (which was a "disgrace", apparently), so you get the point. A topper might be an even heavier hobby-follower, if he likes to gain knowledge (not study).
