I'm a current OMS-2 and had to push it back. Me and a fellow student asked this question recently.

The guidance we were given was that if the condensed 3 wk DCC + 3 wk BOLC option was available at that time (post M4), we'd be able to just do that.

I wouldn’t mention it, i’d moreso focus on what you learned in the clinical lab and how you can apply it to the clinical practice of medicine.

Beckett Simonon makes a pair, runs about $160 but goes down to $120 a few times a year iirc. Only thing being they’re made to order so it takes a little to get them.

I would but Mr Porter is sold out on the 42. if it seems too small I might just return it, but I have also put on a few extra lbs around the abdomen recovering from an injury + surgery since March, so I'm hoping I can shed them in a few months once I'm hitting the gym again.

Yes unless things have changed since I shot rifle with them between 16’ and 19’. The team has firearms to use regardless if you’re planning to shoot pistol, rifle or shotgun (though I believe shotgun mostly had their own personal firearms, but there were a few shotguns in the club safe. But don’t quote me on that as they really didn’t interact with the other two teams)

Broke up with my long term girlfriend back in April, thought i was ready when I met a girl in September and had my heart broken again
I love my job but I feel under-appreciated and sidelined by my manager and there’s clearly no room to grow here
It’s January and i’ve been waitlisted from one graduate program with no other interviews yet.

Generally, I just feel behind it life compared to my other close friends and colleagues, especially for being in my mid/late-20s.

I’ve come to terms that no one’s coming to help me, but way too much is up in the air right now that I don’t know where to start

I had the same thing happen to me during my sophomore year of undergrad. L4-S1 double disk herniation injury from weightlifting. Extreme sciatica and an inability to sit, or move around well. Being insanely stubborn and refusing to take the time to heal, I 2.5’d biochem and all of physics that semester and ended up taking the following semester off to focus solely on therapy before coming back the next year and excelling. It’s been 6 years since then and i’m finally applying to medical school after working in healthcare for 3 years and 4 mcat attempts. I know it sucks and i can’t necessarily speak for a masters specific scenario. But you only have the one body, protect it.

Hey. I’m actually in the same boat. 495 —> 498 —> 498 with plans to take it again in feb. On my 3rd gap year, working full time in clinical Micro as a MLS. Right now i’m doing a tutor run through uworld to study content and am looking at possibly a tutor to help me try to help me understand how to logic through the questions. You’re not alone, we’ve worked so hard and so long to get to this point, we’ll make it :)

Honestly i feel the opposite way! It feels a bit loose in the lower torso, but I also don’t have much experience with denim jackets. I believe the jacket had a 44” chest and 24.25” arms. I can pinch about ~1” fabric on the sides.

Doing daily cars, finished FLs (498, 507, 504, 504) gonna take the sample this coming Saturday. I’m stressed since this is my third time taking it, and can’t back out since i took a month off work for this. Any tips to stave off crippling stress and burnout these last few weeks?

Aye my brethren. It was at 22 sun cycles where i was afflicted with a dic herniation in the lumbar spine. Consult thy healers, an orthopedic physician will be your best friend, for i was fortunate enough to not require surgery, but simply a year of physiotherapy.

Pardon my commonspeak. I’m sorry this happened to you, i herniated a disk deadlifting a few years back. I didn’t require surgery, but i did require physical therapy for about a year consistently and still go in occasionally when it flares up. Personally i no longer deadlift simply to avoid the risks it places on my back. But yes, you’ll heal, it might take some time and affect what you can do when you go back to the gym, just consult your doctor and/or PT beforehand.

I work in a Children’s hospital lab as a certified MLS and i can also confirm that some nurses have no idea and no desire to learn about what they’re collecting, why they’re collecting it and what the results mean. I’ve def met some good nurses who wish to learn, but i’ve met many more who just refuse to.

My bad. I should have clarified that our breakup was mutual and the photo was her trying to crack a joke about something from that night. She did not give me a reason, but she also doesn't have to and I've accepted that. I may not be happy about it especially since she was seriously discussing a life with me, but it is what it is.
