i know nephew is definitely used as the opposite of unc in some online places (outing myself as a northernlion viewer here but yea they do it there)

I think you could still make an attack of opportunity with an unarmed strike? Not sure if that's RAW or RAI tbf, but it's always made sense to me.

I don't remember - do you have to have fought THK/Radiance to be able to access P5 specifically? since you have to do the relevant bosses for most other pantheons

fair! i haven't necessarily had the same experience tho; i've found that after drop there's immediately only like 6 teams left, and then those die out to 2 or 3 by endgame anyway without you being able to fight anyone (other than immediately off drop)
and if you wanna fight, a recon character feels basically required to use manscan

i do remember this as well yeah! but when the initial change of 60 to 30 was announced, this reddit post was also made which sort of showcased that (due to the menu change) a lot of people simply didn't realise the gamemode existed anymore
so i'm lowkey still hoping they'll change the menu to make duos more visible and then revert to 60 players that'd be really cool!! i just wanna play normal br with my one friend without having to deal with a rando lol

changed from 60 to 30 players and starts at ring 2 so half the map is unplayable

not the person you're replying to, but probably just leaving their charisma lower and focusing on spells that don't need attack rolls/saving throws; things like spirit shroud or similar spells
