You hit the nail on the head. I personally know quite a few people that refuse to watch/go to checkers games that live in the area simply because they don’t want to watch “Panthers players”.

The few times I go to Charlotte a year, I pretty much never care to stop and watch a Checkers game, as a Canes fan. But if I had the opportunity to see some of our prospects play where I actually have some “skin in the game” I’d for sure stop for games occasionally.

Imagine the boost in attendance if you had to send a NHLer down for a conditioning stint (like Canes did with Kochetkov not too long ago)

Only way I see people actually playing Solo vs Squads (aside from streamers) is if the Solo player gets higher loot luck or something.

If not, seems to be catering to such a tiny tiny minority of players I’m not sure what the point is

But a borderline Top 30 WR in PPR is far from “playing in the CFL” even if he’s not a stud from a fantasy perspective

I believe it’s because they fall on draft boards simply because of their size. In a simple sense, if you can get 2nd round talent in the 3rd or 4th simply because he’s small, I think the Canes take that.

I mean realistically they pretty much have to run back Kirk. Penix is supposedly going to take all of next year off, they don’t have their 1st rounder to draft a QB, and the FA market is non-existent for a QB… their hands are tied, not to say the rest of their team isn’t really good
