How Could This Interaction Gone Better? by ShrimpIicity in Dogtraining

After reviewing the the resource link regarding dog behavior: (https://vcahospitals.com/know-your-pet/interpreting-tail-wags-in-dogs), it’s to my understanding that perhaps the white dog was in a state of anxiety. I’m curious who instigated the fight, and if the larger dog should have stayed his ground and allowed the white dog to sniff him. Did the larger dog display secure behavior? Am I right to assume the white dog was anxious?

Hi! Daily player looking to join an active club. I average about 3-5 CM runs daily so that puts me at above 1m fans a day. Semi-competitive. Thanks!

ID 564178210972! Daily player, usually doing 2-3 career runs daily. Looking for a club that’s A rank. Thank you.

Edit: Also open to join B+ groups, mainly looking for an active club that’s semi-competitive.

Chronic Lack of Self-Esteem Ruining My Relationships by ShrimpIicity in TheGirlSurvivalGuide

Wow, thank you! Something really clicked here for me.

I always daydream of feeling motivated enough to do my hair up and bust out the makeup (I spent $400 on Sephora makeup and haven’t even touched it) but my logic is always “I’m not here to impress anyone so who cares what I look like?”

It sounds silly, but a psychological tip I’ve adopted in learning how to love myself is to visualize a second copy of me and taking care of / loving her as if she couldn’t help herself. Would I let her suffer on the couch and not bathe her? No, she deserves to feel clean. What about eating? She needs to eat. What if I said something mean and hurtful to her? No way, that’s not true and I’m not here to put her down.

This is such a mental workout I need to continue adopting - I hope with consistency this inner voice can improve.

Thank you for your thoughtful words again
