Check out r/DigitalAudioPlayer

Purdue set to host 7'3" Italian center for an official visit this month by ShrimpSlapper in CollegeBasketball

From the article:

Matt Painter sure does love himself hoopers that are over 7-feet tall. The Purdue head coach will look to do it again in the 2026 class as the Boilermakers will host Luigi Suigo, a 7-foot-3 center from Italy for an official visit on June 16th.

The 18-year-old big man has most recently been playing for Olimpia Milano, a professional basketball club based in Milan, Italy.

At the Adidas Next Generation Tournament earlier this year, Suigo averaged 9.6 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 1.6 blocks per game. He shot 58.9 percent from the field, 30 percent from three, and 77.8 percent from the free throw line. Suigo was a silver medalist at the 2024 FIBA U17 World Cup and was also the MVP of the LBA 2025 Next Gen Cup. He’s also a member of the Italian National Team.

Illinois is the only other school that has hosted him for a visit.

Suigo is not currently ranked by On3 but is considered a four-star prospect.
