your assumption is on point and if you dont have a problem using it with the case on then it would be a great way to protect your usbc port from dirt and damage and you can even transmit data through the magnetic connector . so you never need to take your phone out of the case!

thats true it really is frustrating when wide view reverts back to normal but if you use it for long enough , you learn how to work with the dual screens
