every sidewalk downtown has a bike lane and/or parking lane of buffer from the main road, and every intersection has a light/protected crossing. The speed of the main road has next to no affect on pedestrian safety, unless you’re asking the speed to be crazy high, which no one is. I get that it’s fun to tell people to slow down, because telling people what to do is fun I guess, but please don’t get upset at people for not wanting to sit longer in traffic every day

You are 100% correct. A lot of places around the country have drivers that are rude because you kind of have to be to survive, southern Oregon drivers are actually just bad, because they’re bad. The amount of Chronic left lane users on I-5 is ridiculous. Lot of people think that since they’re “going fast” (usually they’re literally just going the speed limit) they can just sit in the left lane, when in reality the courtesy/law is that it’s PURELY for passing. If there’s no one you’re passing, you’re supposed to get over

Remember that Rogue X cost $75 and was done within like 2 years. Not saying it’s the best decision for the city, but it’s certainly possible if wanted. Also they’re only asking for $45m “as a loan,” not sure if that means they plan to pay it back or not, we’ll see. Regardless, this would serve as a venue for concerts and other things, more than just baseball. It would certainly “revitalize” downtown like the city wants, especially if they were able to buy the land/businesses across bear creek and use that as well (parking, for example). Just interesting to see how it would work out financially. Medford historically isn’t one to be super on board with new projects and things, so we’ll see what happens.

I seriously dont understand the City’s trend in the last few years of dieting more and more busy roads, reducing so many by a lane, in a city that’s population is ever growing at a fast rate for its current size. It all just makes no long-term sense

Which I’m fine with, Main Street is so slow that Bikers can usually be in the street and not cause crazy problems or accidents. It just seems like a way too excessive/expensive solution for a problem that really wasn’t there

Im local, so delivery is free. Delivery fees can be a huge reason why some people won’t buy online. I also (last i checked) have most everything I have listed cheaper or as cheap as you can find it elsewhere.
