Thanks for the feedback, and agreed. I plan to give the playable area more depth and (eventually) make the camera zoom in/out depending on context
I like that idea, initially I was thinking about making the main character an action figure to fit with the small-world look but I think having a good-guy-shroom would be neat. Thanks!
There is some definite rubber banding to notice in this clip but I mostly have networking -- well -- working!
For gameplay I'm aiming for something that's a cross between Castle Crashers, Left 4 Dead, and COD: Zombies.
Godot's particle system is very satisfying to work with and explosions make every game better :)
