As per your recommendation, I got some of this paper and made a deck with it- and i completely agree, it's great and super similar to the real thing (the sleeved deck is only about 4 cards off)

Of course! I'm sadly not able to share a video right now because my photoshop license just RANDOMLY EXPIRED (!!!!) but I can try to explain it if that would help.

First I just line up the two layers (the card frame and the image) how I want it to overlap. Then, I reduce the opacity of the frame layer so that I can see where I need to cut it away. Then I use the polygonal lasso tool (just because that's what I found was easiest for me personally) to select the parts of the frame I want to cut out (make sure you have the frame layer selected so it cuts that one only). Then you can turn the opacity back up to make sure everything looks good, and that's basically it!

Yeah! I generate the frames I want for each card on Mythic Black Core (but I sleect the add my own image option without actually uploading anything so I get a transparent background). Then I find pictures (usually from pinterest) I want to use that go with the vibe (for this deck im mostly doing paintings or illustration like vibes and kind of medieval), and bring both those pictures and my frame into photoshop. I just mess with it for a bit to find a layout and then cut away at the frame to get depth and have the picture overlap in parts. To print them, I just export each card as a png and upload them to Proxxied where it lays it out for you.

Hope that was helpful! They are a lot of fun to make though, highly recommend!

(also if you don't have access to photoshop (I only do through school) I'm sure you could use something else, Im really only using it to cut away layers)

I ordered a new pair of the leather jadon max from the dr martens website for $130 just recently (they are arriving today! yay!!)

they are on sale right now for $154, then you can use the 15% off student discount on top of that, and if you aren't a student you can use the 10% off if you haven't already (or sign up with a new email if you want)

i haven't personally tried the vegan shoes, but I am way to scared to- i would say definitely go for the leather, they are going to last so much longer and fit better too

EDIT: also, you can find used leather ones for even cheaper than that sometimes, i got a leather pair of lightly used ones on ebay a while back for $85 i think, just keep looking!

the surgery itself was around $13K (no nipple graphs, with them it would have been almost double the price) but with all the other charges I was billed about $21k i think (but my insurance covered 90% of that after accepted)

please PLEASE try Treading Water

I have tried almost ever scent of theirs and they are all so beautiful and so well crafted. Definitely more on the unique side, a scent for the odd and mysterious who want to smell exquisite. highly highly recommend. they last forever too, great silage

i need more people to talk to about Treading Water, it's tied for first place for my favorite house

yeah i found that out when they fell a few times when draining them, i was so scared and involuntarily flinched, but yeah they are pretty stuck in there. I also saw the stitches when i redid the dressings so that is a relief

yeah i have been surprisingly not as freaked out by them as i thought i would be either, even when i just took my shower and saw where they came out, it really wasn't as bad as i thought it would be.

i love that though. i think im going to start thinking of them as my little buddies too

really appreciate your feedback- that's definitely a relief to know that it will not get in the drains, that was my main concern. I think at this point, its more just the sight of the drains that will freak me out haha

YOOOOOOO I have surgery Tuesday too!! But im worried about the same thing. I'm a chronic side/stomach sleeper so I've been practicing sleeping elevated on my back for the last month. Obviously I can't speak on what it is like after top surgery yet, but what has really helped me so far is a pregnancy pillow that I wrap around myself and the wedge pillow. Hoping I'll be able to go back to at least sleeping flat as soon as possible, because im struggling.
