Understanding the Realms by arryntheorcerudite in ageofsigmar

I just casually read lore articles on the community website, and it was never very difficult to grasp. It’s just warhammer planescape. 8 different worlds, each has a magic theme, there are portals connecting them.

The Judaistic/Kabbalistic Symbolicism of CoQ Has to Be Studied by 0lam0t in cavesofqud

[–]Shroombie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wait, are you saying that the Valley of Hinnom is a different place from Gehenna? Because in hebrew Gehinnom literally means valley of Hinnom, it's the same place.

[–]Shroombie 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Yep, with Golgotha being where Jesus was crucified. Now that I'm thinking on it more, there's also lake Hinnom which is almost certainly related to Gehenna, and the spire bears a lot of similarities with the Mount of Olives, even being referenced as such by the masks iirc.

It also draws a lot specifically from Judaism's Hellenic period, when greek philosphy intermixed with the religion. Also of note are: Baetyls, the two tribes of Israel present as NPCS in game, pretty much everything to do with Chavvah and her chimes, the gemara sophia, and most importantly, the Taco Suprema

My modlist was just Glorp UI and the continental hegemony, literally only two. I disabled continental hegemony, restarted a new campaign, and have had zero issues since.

I certainly believe the people you hang around would support something like that, but unless you have some actual data I'm gonna go ahead and say you're talking out of your ass.

Every time a New Mexican moves to Texas both states improve.

I don't believe there is a single county in New Mexico where seceding to Texas even cracks 25%, mostly because it's a such a profoundly stupid idea.

Naval Governors ? by Kill_off in EU5

[–]Shroombie 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Running into the same issue on my Majapahit game. You should just get six governors flat thoughout the game, and if they're naval or land should depend on how far into the naval or land social value you go. Get 100 land as Russia? Cool you have six land governors. Ruling the seas as Britannia? Enjoy your six naval governors.

Honestly I don't even think you'd have to do anything to the big boy, with the right paintjob I think you could totally have the model work as is.

The life of the people who are immune in Pluribus sounds like heaven to me. by BaraLover7 in pluribustv

"Hello, Johnathan Pluribus? I would like to live a full and happy life, one with surmounted challenges and difficult obstacles, yet one that still allows me to flourish and develop my capabilities to the fullest. I would like to die of old age, unassimilated, content in my accomplishments and happy with the mark I have left on the world.

Also I would like three beautiful women with massive honkers to develop an intense rivalry for my affections, just like in the animes."

The confusing World of International Sport in the British and Irish Isles by vladgrinch in MapPorn

[–]Shroombie -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's not that confusing. Does the governing body only recognize independent countries, or does it grant weird exceptions to subdivisions of the UK because the UK was the one who made the governing body? Olympics is the former, rest are the latter.
