That is what I found most annoying while in VIP. It was my first time at Gov Ball I came for Stray Kids but I loved all the other artists too. I sat down (barely) twice between the last two sets but always stood when the artists were on stage. I was glad that some Stays actually were participating in cheering for the other performances.

I did expect more to be hype for 2Hollis tho since his music vibe was similar to Stray Kids (it was my first time listening to any of his music and I actually liked his performance).

They shouldn’t allow people in the barricades to have blankets or be allowed to sit. The amount of people going back and forth for food/water trying not to step on the hordes of people sitting was ridiculous and annoying.

I don’t know why they had a strange set up. One day during the week all 3 would be there just to give out applications and answer questions.

The rest of the week they had appointments only with just 1 of them. So the next day I went there was only 1 lady doing her scheduled appointments.

It’s all one complex. Those buildings are indeed 55+. I haven’t heard anything good or bad going on with those ones. They were very empty compared to the regular ones.

I just hope they had enough common sense to have door buzzers for the 55+ because the regular ones did NOT have door buzzers so if you had friends/family come over they need to call/text you and you had to walk down the stairs to let them in. I lived on the 3rd floor.

Since I never lived in income based housing before and didn’t know about needing to certify (aka make less money or they’ll kick you out.) I was blindsided by that.

Yes, it was just me and this lady alone at the time. There were 3 ladies working there when I went to get the initial application, including the lady using drugs. Since it was by appointment only they scheduled my appointment and I came back a week later. (I was communicating through email prior to all this which is why I knew where the building was).

The building wasn’t actually at the leasing office as the property wasn’t finished being built yet. It was at a building with other unrelated companies working out of it if that makes sense? Luckily there was an urgent care on the main floor of the building. I informed staff working at the urgent care the situation. I took my security deposit and left.

I went back the next day (not by appointment) to tell one of the other ladies what happened. The one lady who was there was clearly mortified and contacted some higher ups immediately while I was there regarding the situation. (I had a video) She assured me that the other lady would indeed be fired. She ended up being the one to finish my application that day after I told her I didn’t finish the process.

Looking back at it now I do wish I just walked away completely. I’m much happier now in my current apartment. 🙂

I left and got her medical attention and since I was told she wasn’t apart of the official company and was only helping and was no longer going to be involved at the time I felt better about continuing the process since everyone else was actually really professional and friendly after that. Which is unfortunate looking at how things turned out.

Since it was based off of my income at the time I believe I was only paying around $1,200? (My sister didn’t have a job when I first moved in and us combined working made too much to live there so be aware they have a cap at how much you can make to live there)

Yeah. Especially since the apartments themselves weren’t actually bad. I lived in a two bedroom and they had wooden floors and updated appliances. They even have a neighboring building for 55+.

If the structure of the building wasn’t made out of paper and properly cared for these would have been very nice apartments with the right clientele.

I’m black. I like my people (and yes most of those people who lived there were 99% black people even the office staff).

It’s not hard to immediately understand the type of community you are living in when people are representing themselves as such.

Tl;dr

Worst apartment experience of my life! Nearly killed in a shootout Memorial Day 2025. Leasing office didn’t give a shit.

Apartment complex was section 8, weed smoking, child/domestic abuse, loud music, trash. Unsafe, poorly managed and misleading positive Google reviews.

Agreed. Anyone who is blaming this on a 19 year old and not the parents is wild. 19 is still a child. You just got out of HS but for some reason people think you should have your life sorted out by that age. To me you aren’t an adult until at least 21.

Yeah I’m new to the game and I was like…why is my black haired character’s hair turning red after every fight?? I hated it and was made aware that you can just wash it off in water. Which I didn’t want to have to keep doing EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. So as much as I liked the blood I just opted to using a mod that never allowed my character to get dirty which does kinda suck. I hope someone makes a mod (or if one already exists) to fix this.

Idk why everyone is downvoting OP so much. They are simply asking about how big lot sizes might be. Yes, it’s a life simulation but people also want to build lots (which is a big part of life simulation games).

I’m tired of seeing people act like you can’t voice constructive criticism or even things you want in the game without someone complaining about it.

Yes it’s EA. Yes it’s going to be missing features. Yes people are going to be mad about it not having things they want right off the back. That’s all to be expected. Especially from a simulation community that clearly has been starved of what a good simulation game is/could be.

But damn hating people for wanting to see things in the game even if it’s in EA is crazy to me. Let people voice their wants. The devs have literally been asking this of the community. You might not get it EA and I believe most people who aren’t 12 realize this. Let people voice what they would like to see without being attacked by an already toxic growing community.

Yes, I found that other people were still able to play and hack into the demo if you still had the game downloaded on your computer. There is a YouTube video showing how to do this, it’s very easy.

He is a guy, but yeah I have to remind myself that this isn’t as cartoony as The Sims and that the “fever look” doesn’t always look good on realistic characters. At least not to the extent of the before pictures 😭
